By now no believing Christian can claim that Bergoglio is unwillfully attempting to destroy the Catholic Church.

If we try to follow Christ we had better get used to being thrown under the bus, as this commenter to the piece reporting on Bergoglio's latest scandalous appointments makes clear:

Louie Verrechio gave a very good talk on Our Lady of Guadalupe which, although I shall not call a must-watch, certainly is at the very least a should-watch. There is a movie about Our Lady of Guadalue, "The Blood and the Rose", which he cannot recommend highly enough. He thought he knew about the apparition, but after watching the movie he realised just how little he knew.

The jewel of Steve Skojec's piece on Bergoglio's stubborn and foolhardly twisting of Islam to defend it - and equally stubborn assault on the faith he claims to hold - is surely this:

The Bergoglio juggernaut never seems to stop rolling, it is. Today we have him encouraging the young to sin by telling us them that God prefers them sinful and weak, so that he can show his mercy. I know, that sounded like a misquotation, but sadly it is not. The only thing we can hope for is that it is a mistranslation, but that really is grasping at straws at this point. I suppose there is still the possibility that somebody framed him by just making this up.
