In the name of tolerance, tolerance is being abolished; this is a real threat we face.

Louie Verrechio gave a very good talk on Our Lady of Guadalupe which, although I shall not call a must-watch, certainly is at the very least a should-watch. There is a movie about Our Lady of Guadalue, "The Blood and the Rose", which he cannot recommend highly enough. He thought he knew about the apparition, but after watching the movie he realised just how little he knew.
He goes into the history of the apparition, how it had been woven into the world over the preceding centuries, and how it helped convert South America, from 2,000 converts a year to 5 million Catholics within a space of 10 years or so, offsetting the millions who were apostasising in Europe as a result of the protestant revolt. He uses that as precedent for what will happen when Russia is consecrated to the Blessed Virgin Mary in accordance with her terms, just as the apparition in Guadalupe had its own terms to which adherence was paramount. Much of this is contained in the movie.
Then, as now, the situation seemed dire, and without the intervention of God the bishop of the diocese considred the New World a lost cause. He equates the human sacrifice of the bloodthirsty Aztecs with that of Islam today, and actually starts his talk speaking about a world overrun by a human-sacrificing religion destroying everything in its wake. Once he catches the attention of people, he reveals that it is the Aztecs.
Being who he is - an ardent defender of the faith - he cannot ignore the Bergoglian and Novus Ordo crises, and he ends by quoting some documents of Vatican II as well as some of the more shocking statements from Bergoglio. It is interesting to note that the talk was held in 2014 and already then Bergoglio had amassed a substantial corpus of scandalous utterings. He then finishes by pointing out that as dire as it seems, there is hope, if we turn to Our Lady, as Christ instructed us to do, through the apparition of Fatima, with this being its most unique feature as far as Marian apparitions go - Jesus Christ pointing back to His earthly mother as the way to Him.
The take-all from his talk is that as dark as things seem, there is hope, if we only turn to Our Lady to turn us to Our Lord.
