Unlike VoxCantoris, I would argue Bergoglio is far from deluded when he says:

The Church is not falling to pieces. It has never been better. This is a wonderful moment for the Church, you just need to look at its history.

For the record, it is not the first time that Bergoglio has said that.

If  your aim is to destroy the Chuch of Christ, which I can only conclude is Bergoglio's aim, then he can say that meaning it to 100% and not being delusional, for surely there has never been a time in which so many Catholics have been lost as today. There has never been a time when the Church has been far from the guiding light she is meant to be, when a large number of bishops have colluded with the culture of death around them to destroy souls, not even during the Arian crisis.

Never has the devil seemed so comfortable within the Church, so for sure, if you look at it from the devil's perspective, or that of his agents, the Church has indeed "never been better".
