The European elections serve to show that the European Union is democratic, since it organizes elections. Of course, this Parliament has none of the attributes of national parliaments. In reality, it serves almost no purpose... except to be elected. During its term of office, it will cost 15 billion euros, not including the cost of the election.

We reproduce the text of a lecture given on May 4 in Boulogne-sur-mer. In it, Thierry Meyssan explains that the current conflict in Palestine is not the fault of the Arab and Jewish populations. It was organized, as early as 1915, by the colonial power, with the idea that the state or states to come would never be able to guarantee their own security. Unbeknownst to them and to their own detriment, the Palestinians and Israelis, by staging the October 7th operation and its aftermath, are simply implementing this policy. While the mullahs' rhetoric is clearly anti-Israeli, relations between the two countries are far more complex than one might think. There are in fact two opposing groups in Iran, one intent on doing business by all means with the rest of the world, while the other aims to liberate peoples from colonization. The former has never stopped doing business with Israel, while the latter fights against it, just as it fights against the imperialism of the United Kingdom and the United States.

Despite the Israeli propaganda campaign to persuade Western media that the Iranian response didn't cause any damage, the truth is emerging. Tehran did not seek to attack the Israeli civilian population, but to test the IDF defenses. For the first time, it used hypersonic missiles that neither Israel's allies nor its own army were able to intercept.

The Israeli attack on Iranian diplomatic premises in Damascus was a clear violation of the Vienna Convention. No one disputed it. The Israeli justification that militia meetings were held there does not change this fact. The Iranian response to this attack, whatever one thinks of it, is therefore legitimate with regard to Article 51 of the United Nations Charter. No one should dispute that. Wars have considerable costs. The war against the Russian-speaking populations of Ukraine is mainly borne by Europeans, while that against the Arabs of Palestine is borne by the United States. All these expenses serve the same strategy, that of Anglo-Saxon global domination.
