Elections to the European Parliament: a costly masquerade, by Thierry Meyssan

Voltaire Network - 14 hours 36 min ago
The European elections serve to show that the European Union is democratic, since it organizes elections. Of course, this Parliament has none of the attributes of national parliaments. In reality, it serves almost no purpose... except to be elected. During its term of office, it will cost 15 billion euros, not including the cost of the election.

In Europe and the Middle East, two scenarios for the same war, by Manlio Dinucci

Voltaire Network - Sun, 05/12/2024 - 06:49
The current war in Ukraine and the Middle East is a continuation of the way the Anglo-Saxons behaved during the Second World War. Back then they tried to manipulate Nazi power to defeat the USSR. Today, they are manipulating the Ukraine to defeat Russia. What failed in 1945, will fail again.

Ukraine on the brink of the abyss

Voltaire Network - Sat, 05/11/2024 - 07:45
Most military experts warn of an imminent collapse of the Ukrainian army. The West hopes that the arrival of US weapons next month will reassure it. This is unlikely, because their problem is not a lack of weapons, but the extremely high rate of casualties and the lack of perspective. Under these conditions, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has opened up a petition on his official website to ask NATO to send soldiers to the battlefield. On 8 May, he celebrated the Allied Victory (...)

The October 7 narrative contradicted by history, by Thierry Meyssan

Voltaire Network - Tue, 05/07/2024 - 07:59
We reproduce the text of a lecture given on May 4 in Boulogne-sur-mer. In it, Thierry Meyssan explains that the current conflict in Palestine is not the fault of the Arab and Jewish populations. It was organized, as early as 1915, by the colonial power, with the idea that the state or states to come would never be able to guarantee their own security. Unbeknownst to them and to their own detriment, the Palestinians and Israelis, by staging the October 7th operation and its aftermath, are simply implementing this policy. By failing to stop the ethnic cleansing of the Gazans, the Anglo-Saxons are not demonstrating their insensitivity, but the fact that they regard the massacres as mere adjustment variables.

The Kastner case resurfaces

Voltaire Network - Fri, 05/03/2024 - 15:06
At the beginning of the State of Israel, Hungarian Jew Rezső Kasztner (aka "Rudolf Ysrael Kastner") was appointed spokesman for the Minister of Trade and Industry. However, it turned out that during World War II he had negotiated with the Nazis for the flight of Hungarian Jews. According to some, he was a hero, according to others a Nazis collaborator. A Hungarian journalist accused him of saving only his family, friends, and wealthy personalities who could pay their ransom. It is (...)

Non-Semite (sic) Khazar Netanyahu calls US anti-genocidal academics "anti-Semites" (sic), by Alfredo Jalife-Rahme

Voltaire Network - Fri, 05/03/2024 - 08:13
The term "Semite", which originally applied to Arabs, whether Jewish, Christian or Muslim now refers to Jews, whether Semitic (Sephardic) or European (Ashkenazi). Alfredo Jalife-Rahme, mocking this semantic shift, criticizes Benjamin Netanyahu's propaganda tricks.

Paris 2024 and Berlin 1936 in the service of an impossible imperial dream, by Thierry Meyssan

Voltaire Network - Tue, 04/30/2024 - 08:07
The comparison is shocking: the organization of the Olympic Games in Paris 2024 uses propaganda tricks from those of Berlin 1936. Yet it is nevertheless possible to explain: President Emmanuel Macron, like Chancellor Adolf Hitler, is pursuing the same "New European Order" project.. Unlike his predecessor, he is going about it peacefully, but like him, he will fail because, like him, he despises the people. What's more, his project is out-dated: it no longer corresponds to the structures of the digital age.

Georgia and the financing of political organizations from abroad

Voltaire Network - Sat, 04/27/2024 - 06:37
A week after Kyrgyzstan, Georgia passed a law on the financing of political organizations from abroad. Small demonstrations took place for three days in front of the Parliament, culminating in a rally of more than 10,000 people. The protesters referred to the bill as the "Putin Law" because they said it was based on a law in force in Russia. The government responded by distributing copies of its U.S. equivalent, the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), which is in force... since 1938. (...)

Israel's complex relations with Iran, by Thierry Meyssan

Voltaire Network - Wed, 04/24/2024 - 06:25
While the mullahs' rhetoric is clearly anti-Israeli, relations between the two countries are far more complex than one might think. There are in fact two opposing groups in Iran, one intent on doing business by all means with the rest of the world, while the other aims to liberate peoples from colonization. The former has never stopped doing business with Israel, while the latter fights against it, just as it fights against the imperialism of the United Kingdom and the United States.

Iran's hypersonic missiles generate deterrence through terror, says Scott Ritter, by Alfredo Jalife-Rahme

Voltaire Network - Mon, 04/22/2024 - 11:37
Despite the Israeli propaganda campaign to persuade Western media that the Iranian response didn't cause any damage, the truth is emerging. Tehran did not seek to attack the Israeli civilian population, but to test the IDF defenses. For the first time, it used hypersonic missiles that neither Israel's allies nor its own army were able to intercept.

When the West confuses Law and Politics

Voltaire Network - Sat, 04/20/2024 - 10:09
The Israeli attack on Iranian diplomatic premises in Damascus was a clear violation of the Vienna Convention. No one disputed it. The Israeli justification that militia meetings were held there does not change this fact. The Iranian response to this attack, whatever one thinks of it, is therefore legitimate with regard to Article 51 of the United Nations Charter. No one should dispute that. Remarks that Iran did not have the right to send aircraft through third-party airspace do not (...)

The cost of war, by Manlio Dinucci

Voltaire Network - Wed, 04/17/2024 - 05:12
Wars have considerable costs. The war against the Russian-speaking populations of Ukraine is mainly borne by Europeans, while that against the Arabs of Palestine is borne by the United States. All these expenses serve the same strategy, that of Anglo-Saxon global domination.
