Day's Links:
We are told by Fr. David Nix in "A New Year’s Circumcision" :
Traditional Catholics are usually grumpy but they are the only group still striving for the fulness of doctrinal truth.
I certainly wouldn't say that Traditional Catholics are grumpy, but let's just say that we have a fight to pick with pretty much everyone. Traditionalists are for the most part they most joyous people I know, simply because they know that God is with them and they don't need to feel good to believe in the presence or assistance of God.
That aside, the issue with which Fr. David Nix takes issue is that of "The Octave Day of Christmas", also known as "The Feast of the Circumcision of Our LORD Jesus Christ". In the Novus Ordo it is simply the Feast of Mary, or "Feast of Mary, Mother of God". He is at a loss to find any good reason why the former would morph into the latter as part of the post-conciliar liturgical reforms.
It is a point I have made often. Like I have done, he conlcudes is simply no good reason, that it is a modernist ploy to shake use from our foundations. Like I, he does not assume good intent on the part of the destroyers.
It is a piece well-worth reading.
The interesting thing is that he writes that Bergoglio does not even bother him anymore, seeming thankful that Bergoglio's diabolical acts have helped push neo-Catholics into realising that Vatican II did not bring much good with it, to the extent that the whole of the NOChurch revolution is on the ropes.
Oddly enough he sees value in the charismatic movement. I see in it nothing more than blowhards and fakery. If there is any value in it or any good fruits I am yet to see them, and on this I cannot take him on his word.

Fr. Kloster. Inside the monstrance and tabernacle is Jesus, God Almighty, not His Name. Jesus and His Name are two different realities.
