The great Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris is on fire. Parts of it have collapsed, and we hope the rest will be salvaged. The most important relics have reportedly been saved. It is a sad day for all of Christendom and there is great symbolism in having the greatest cathedral in France up in flames, during Holy Week no less.

We dare hope that it will be rebuilt greather than ever and that upon its re-construction it will not be debased by the Novus Ordo liturgy but rather that the cathedral will awaken to a world in which the Tridentine Rite for which it was built once again reigns supreme.
