In a remarkable night of football, Manchester United came back from 2-0 in the first leg at home to win 3-1 away at Paris St. Germain with a dramatic last-minute penalty to go through on away goals despite having 10 first-team players missing through injury or suspension!

Spare a thought for the great goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, who was the victim of yet another last-minute penalty awarded against his side, after losing out to Real Madrid from a Christiano Ronaldo penalty last time out. This time at least he managed not to get himself sent off, and we can hope that he will play for another season.

This Ole Gunnar Solskajer guy has really turned the club around after the doom and gloom of the Mourinho era. Give him the job already, I say!

It's hard to imagine anybody else making a more positive impact than he has meade.

Given that Lent started today, it is good to at least be able to note that I have not given up winning, at least as far as it pertains to my favourite football team.
