One can readily admit that the Magisterium's manner of expression does not seem very easy to understand at times. It needs to be translated by preachers and catechists into a language which relates to people and to their respective cultural environments. The essential content of the Church's teaching, however, must be upheld in this process. It must not be watered down on allegedly pastoral grounds, because it communicates the revealed truth.

Day's Links:
A new round of attacks by NATO members spearheaded by Donald Trump, and accompanied by the poodles Theresa May and Emmanuel Macron, was carried out today.
Much can be said about this but I shall simply point out that the U.S. is not a Christian country, much less a Catholic one. One cannot serve two masters, and one cannot be an americanist and a Christian, or a zionist and a Christian.
Only Americanist neo-cons and zionists of whatever stripe benefit from these actions, which only embolden Islamists to carry out more atrocities in the Middle East knowing that NATO will help them out if they get into trouble, and leads to Christians being even further driven out of our ancestral homelands.
Those entertain the fantasy that the U.S. is in any way, shape or form a force of good in the wider world would do well to think about this.
