In discussing the sexual allegations hysteria griping leftists, Fr. Hunwicke , in a piece titled " Weinsteins and things ", humorously wrote:

Perhaps that would enable us to lock up all the Dirty Old Men and all the Dirty Young Women. Perhaps they could all be incarcerated together, each DOM in the same cell as his DYW, and left to get on with their rabid symbiotic impurities until they all fell down dead from exhaustion.

The question he poses is why feminists insist that women are absolutely blameless even in cases where by their conduct  and their dress they have taken prostituted themselves to advance their careers/causes.

I shall continue to insist, until proven otherwise, that the sexual allegations bonanza was initiated and whipped up to prevent Roy Moore from being elected. I hold on to that theory because, at least from what I can see, in the U.S., the mainstream media has moved on to other stuff.

On this side of the pond, and even over there, I suppose, there were feminists and other assorted leftist useful idiots who never got the memo, so they continue to whip up allegations not realising that the officially-endorsed game has actually achieved its purpose.
