Assuredly, the word of truth can be painful and uncomfortable. But it is the way to holiness, to peace, and to inner freedom. A pastoral approach which truly wants to help the people concerned must always be grounded in the truth. In the end, only the truth can be pastoral.

A new open letter , actually more of a rap sheet of Bergoglio's scandals, has been penned by Catholic Family News and The Remnant. It is entitled "With Burning Concern: We Accuse Pope Francis" and lays out the cause that Bergoglio is acting against the interests of the Church.
In time no doubt this will be used as part of his indictment. In the here and now though, I argue that it will not make much of a difference: Those who defend Bergoglio seem incapable of reason, and frankly I am not sure how we can ever get to them but laying out the charges against Bergoglio probably won't work since theese people don't seem to believe in the mission of the Church anyway, much like the man in charge. They have their pope and the will defend him no matter what, especially over Jesus it seems.
They have promised a "part II" and that will surely be well formulated. Still, I wonder if there is anything more that lay people can do, short of starting to throw rocks at the man. We have been wailing and lamenting for 3 years now but his scandals continue unabated and accelerate, and even worse, a large portion of the laity seems okay with it and almost all bishops keep silent about it.
There is virtually nothing more that traditional Catholics can do. The only way to raise the stakes is to start pressuring the bishops in all moral ways to actually take up their responsibility and do what they were ordained to do.
