In the name of tolerance, tolerance is being abolished; this is a real threat we face.

Day's Links:
I have little hope that Bergoglio harbours any good intentions with regards to the church. Conversely, I have no doubt that Bergoglio's intentions regarding any changes he makes are evil, devoid of any intentions towards aiding the Church's great commission to bring all souls to Christ.
Nonetheless, I really doubt that Kasper has an inside scoop on the exhortation following the 2015 synod. Given that the man is unquestionably a liar and an obfuscator of monumentous proportions, I would suspect that he is trying to create an exepection of something which will not be in the document, a hermeneutic of interpreting it that will go beyond the document.
Make no mistake: Nothing bearing Bergoglio's name will be edifying for the faithful in any way, shape or form. However, given how much time he has spent subverting the Church's teaching on marriage through Catholic divorce, I am inclined to agree with Edward Condon that it would make little sense if he then came along and jettisoned everything away by saying that the easy annulments are not required after all - although I do not agree with his pollyanish attitude which seems to assume some sort of good will hidden somewhere deep in Bergoglio's actions.
On the other hand, there seems to be no end to the depths of depravity Bergoglio is not willing to scale, so I would not be shocked if the exhortation is as bad as many fear. I would, however, be surprised. Nonsense seems to be Bergoglio's forte, after all, and speaking of forte, a man by that name is said to be very much behind the document, which again bodes ill.
Indeed, if it was any good, I would be absolutely horrified and would much more likely assume that someone in the Vatican tricked him into it rather than concluding that the evil clown - using a borrowed phrase which I hope will be popularised - has had a change of heart and decided to lead the Church in her mission.
