Celibacy is always, shall we say, an affront to what man normally thinks. It is something that can be done, and is only credible, if there is a God and if celibacy is my doorway into the kingdom of God.

Day's Links:
Bergoglio speaks, chaos follows; the man is a one-person hurricane.
A few good things from the interview:
A friendship with a woman is not a sin. (It’s) a friendship. A romantic relationship with a woman who is not your wife, that is a sin.
It is good that Bergoglio recognises that fornication and adultery are sins, which to be fair, was not exactly clear. Now, as to what he means by "wife" - given he seems to be a defender of divorce - and what he means by sin - given that he rarely speaks of it and gives the impression that even the sinful can get to Heaven without repentance - that is a discussion for another day. Let it suffice to know that he has knowledge of a concept of sin, and that fornication/adultery are sins.
As to the rest of the interview: Prrof of the impious muddled mind that leads Bergoglio, or if we are willing to accept that his absurdities are intentional, proof of a master schemer.
I am neither amused nor impressed, and nor is any faithful Catholic.
