One can readily admit that the Magisterium's manner of expression does not seem very easy to understand at times. It needs to be translated by preachers and catechists into a language which relates to people and to their respective cultural environments. The essential content of the Church's teaching, however, must be upheld in this process. It must not be watered down on allegedly pastoral grounds, because it communicates the revealed truth.
Day's Links - 2015-12-08 - Feast of the Immaculate Conception

Day's Links:
Today is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This ought to be the focus of the Church. Unfortunately, thanks in large part to the machinations of Bergoglio, it is not for most people, as we cannot help but attempt to counter the anti-Catholics antics of Bergoglio.
There is a petition from The Remnant asking Bergoglio to either convert to the faith or step down. I promptly signed it.
It is unlikely that he will resign as a result of it. The best we can hope for perhaps is that it will wake people up to the notion that a faithful segment of the Church deems Bergoglio the enemy. Either way, anything that undermines the credibility of Bergoglio without undermining the papacy is a cause worth supporting. I hope that so many people sign and make an issue of it that it becomes impossible to ignore through all levels of the Church.
It is worth nothing that I am very much against the idea of a Pope resigning as a father cannot resign from his duties. It is difficult to see anything in the form of a father from Bergoglio though, seeing as he spends much of his time belittling and insulting the faithful. With him discrecited there is a chance that many of the psychophants in the Vatican and papolaters outside of it will be forced to take a long hard look at themselves and choose the Church over Her emenies, even when her prime enemy is the very man who is supposed to promote Her the most.
I am also against petitions to the Church as such, because it gives the impression that the majority vote counts for anything in the Church. These are extraordinary times though and extraordinary times call for extraordinary actions.
