Now that Mother Russia has entered the Syrian war, we can at long last begin to hope for an end in sight to this conflict which has claimed so many lives, with victory for the right side and the survival of the Assad government, which is supported by Christians in the region.

We can also hope for the speedy demolition of the Islamist forces which have been on a murdering spree these past few years, with the help of the major Western military powers - France, U.S. and U.K. - as well as the complicity of virtually all the rest. That the Western countries protest so much at Russia's entry should tell us everything we need to know about their support for the Islamists.

I am informed that Chinese help is also on its way. Iran is also helping out, and we are informed that Baghdad in Iraq acts as the command centre for these efforts. In other words, this is a genuinly multi-national effort. I am sure many countries all over the world, and a large segment of at least Eastern Europe, as well as anybody who has his thinking cap on regarding this situation, realises just what a positive action it is that the Russians have undertaken. We can therefore put to bed the myth of Russian isolation over this action.

It also transpires that Bergoglio's trip to the Americas was not covered by the Chinese media. I suppose  censorship may have its merits after all, as the Chinese were spared of the scandalous Bergoglio show on tour.
