In the name of tolerance, tolerance is being abolished; this is a real threat we face.

Day's Links:
Papal delusion at it's finest is on fine display in this general audience by Pope Paul VI, just a week or so before the Novus Ordo Missae was introduced. The remarkable thing is that he seemed very well in tune with the possible effects of this "liturgical innovation" as he called it, as can be evidenced by the highlights of the audience here and a further speech some while later, both uncovered by Liturgy Guy. One cannot say the pope had not been warned, or that he was not cognisant of the dangers, yet he still went ahead.
I suppose he can be forgiven as we might be able to attribute good intentions on his part, although I find that impossible to do without at the very least admitting he had a huge dose of hubris. The same cannot be said of those who defend these same innovations given that we have full knowledge of the devasation that these have wrought on the Church: Enter the Bergoglian and his Kaperian wolves.
In short, the delusion of Pope Paul VI, through hubristical may have been been brought on by a modicum of good intentions. The same cannot be said of the papal delusion which Bergoglio exhibits, but even with the Motu Proprios that were released with the intention of essentially creating Catholic divorce, we see that Pope Francis had been warned, yet still went ahead. History will judge him harshly.
