I have run into a rather decent blog recently. Here is what he has to say about Pope Francis' clearly modernist stance on the Church:

 

It is mind-boggling that anyone could look at the state of the Church and the nearly wholesale ignorance of the fullness of the Faith by priests, bishops and the laity for the most part and in all places and actually to say without laughing or crying that this reform of the liturgy brought a good understanding to the people of what they are doing at the Mass.  Moreover, when we compare the fruits of the Tridentine Rite with the New Mass particularly with the vocations produced, how is it possible to say that it is mistaken to go backward and it is important to follow the Mass in the new way?  This is delusional.

And then we get the cheap slogan of the communists as the battle cry.  This papacy and the great part of the hierarchy every day help make the analogy of the state of the Church today with the state of the failing communist states stronger and stronger.  As in those days, the case is made repeatedly that things are great, never been better, the past is buried, despite the reality of the near total collapse that people actually live and lived.  As those societies and governments crumbled from moral and economic bankruptcy, so the Church does today from nearly complete moral and spiritual bankruptcy in so many.  The lies could only carry on for so long before the people rose against them and shook off their stupor and heeded those who had been holding on to the truth and refusing to live the lie.

One joke then was: “We pretend to work and they pretend to pay us.”

The joke in the Church today is: “we pretend to believe and they pretend to bless us.”

If the hierarchy today could, they would force the laity into the pews at the point of a gun and make them cheer in an attempt to perpetuate the lie, just like the communists they seek to emulate.  And they would eliminate those who are demeaned today as “traditionalists” with the same zeal the communists went after the “bourgeoisie” and the “kulaks” and the “speculators”.

 

ChurchMilitant.tv has a piece on the rampant sexual deviance in some Jesuit seminaries. I suppose this calls for an apostolic visitation of the Jesuits just like that which was meant to 'sort out' the Franciscans of the Immaculate - where the only sin was a drift towards orthodoxy.

Under Bergoglio and his gang though, I won't hold my breath on that one. No, these ones are certainly in communion with Rome; or at least so we would have to conclude.
