A very good piece on the actions of the U.S. in the Ukrainian crisis asking whether the masters are incompetent. The simple answer to his question would appear to be a resounding "yes!"

The concerns expressed regarding the dire efforts of the Church's hiearchy to fight the major heresies of the day are ones I share completely. I also agree with the reasoning he uses - the docility of the laity in challenging obviously false positions by the hierarchy, the preference of populism against eternal truths, the use of the word "pastoral" to swallow up and spit out all of the Church's doctine.
