I have little hope that Bergoglio harbours any good intentions with regards to the church. Conversely, I have no doubt that Bergoglio's intentions regarding any changes he makes are evil, devoid of any intentions towards aiding the Church's great commission to bring all souls to Christ.
One couldn't make it up: To defend Catholic teaching is now supposed to be protestant. That seems to be the gist of Fr. Allan J. McDonald's piece, in which he quotes Fr. Dwight Longenecker - who used to be a solid defender of the faith.
I have often remarked that Bergoglio will turn every one of his defenders into a liar before he is done. This piece more than proves my case.
