  1. Andrew says:

Non facit ecclesiastica dignitas Christianum. (S. Hieronymus; Ep. 14: Ad Heliodorum Monachum)

It is not the ecclesiastical rank that makes one a Christian.

So the question that I have is When and What can the Pope say that we must follow or believe?
For years now it seems that the Holy Fathers words are constantly being explained to mean something that any rational person can see is not what he meant or said.
At this point I no longer believe anything our One and Only Holy Pope says…. if I do some Vatican cardinal will explain it to mean the exact opposite and tomorrow another cardinal will explain it totally different.
It is easiest and likely best for my soul and those in my charge to not listen to any of them including the Pope.

L. says:

I was watching the movie “The Bishop’s Wife” recently. It’s about an angel (played by Cary Grant) who answers a prayer by a married Episcopalian Bishop (played by David Niven). I commented to some family members, “Here’s how you know the Bishop isn’t Catholic. The old money-bag lady in the movie from whom the Bishop wants money to build a cathedral says to the Bishop, “You give me the impression of being confused, indecisive and ineffectual. That is not the kind of leadership we expect of our bishop!”

That is exactly the kind of leadership Catholics expect of their bishops

Grabski says:

I thank God daily that He has protected Benedict for us

Mr. Dorchak, I totally agree with you. This pope Francis talks out of both sides of his mouth. I totally respect the Office of the Pope, but I don’t respect the office holder at this point. I just pray for him to be knocked off his high horse and go blind for three days or maybe more so God can have a chit chat with him.

In the future a Vatican historian will call this the Age of Confusion. Wait a minute, I meant the Spirit of Vatican II. Oh the heck with it, I am confused.

Own comment:

If there is any good thing about Bergoglio's pseudo-papacy it is that it has allowed the perverts to come out of their closet. We now  know that many of our bishops are perverted.

As for the man on top, I fail to see exactly why people struggle to reconcile Bergoglio with Catholicism. It is very simple: The man is not Catholic.

Whatever other conclusions and consequences we can draw from that we shall have to draw based upon that very obvious fact, without engaging in gymnastics to take him seriously when the man should be laughed and mocked off any room he enters. It does a great disservice to the Petrine Office to take a buffoon as Bergoglio seriously.
