He better play nice with the Americans, or no more money for the Vatican.

No seriously,
Nearly 50 % of Vaticans money comes from the United States... pissing us off means no more money for you...
In others words, if the church splits and us catholics leave Francis in the dust, the Vatican will fall...
He better start answers our questions...

Just the other day Francis called money "the devil's dung," so it is very fortunate that he is running out of it.

This, and only this, could motivate the Curia to take a favorable stance on the Pope's removal.

With Marx lined up already acting like the Pope in waiting, this wouldn't necessarily be a good thing. Our Lady warned us in Fatima, La Salette, Our Lady of Good Success; apostasy, bishop against bishop, natural calamities. We just have to pray and sacrifice. I love Bisho Schneider and Cardinal Burke calling for prayer and sacrifice in the 40 days leading to the synod!

Hope he doesn't get shown "Shoes of the Fisherman"(1968) He'll start to sell off things like the Pieta, Vatican Museum pieces, rent out St Peters for an ecumenical conclave, etc, etc.

That might be a good thing. The Vatican would get a hefty piece of change for that grotesque, blasphemous "Resurrection" sculpture in the Paul VI Audience Hall. Wiki tells me it's 80 metric tons of bronze/ copper. There's some serious salvage value in that much scrap metal.
Own comment:

It should surprise nobody that the Vatican ran a deficit last year given that Bergoglio is always traveling and that he seems content to pay for new stuff so long as it doesn't look as good as the old. Then there is his constant insults against the faithful who cannot but start wondering why they should give him any money at all.

Still, it is difficult to know whether the Vatican finances being in bad shape is something to cheer at - given that it might be a sign of an anti-Bergoglio revolt - or whether it is Bergoglio's - or his master's - plan all along.
