Great letter. I agree 100% This is not the plague. People are not dropping dead by the thousands. Total and complete globalist agenda. Ultimately this virus is the work of the Devil, who I am sure in his miserable heart, is glad there a closure of Church and Holy Mass. The Evil One and his coworkers should be aware, their time will come to an end. Our Lord triumphs.

this is foolish and not backed up by science. Rather than seeing an political conspiracy at work, why not use it as a time to evangelise, when the reality of our mortality has dawned on a lot of people. we are often exhorted to meditate on death judgement heaven and hell. God has allowed circumstances which have brought the first of those to the fore, its our job to remind people of the rest.

I wish this were the case, but the evidence is contrary. Too many people requiring enhanced oxygen and ventilators, with a long incubation period and extended recovery, whatever that is going to look like. For the elderly, this virus is very bad, and not much better for those in the middle, at least, that's what it looks like.
The more people self-isolate at this time, the better we may have it. And why not? The economy will not tank, there are enough young people out there buying things and doing things to keep it afloat for a while, thankfully, and if we can flatten out the curve we will be doing what we can to not overload the health care system. About 260 people died in Italy yesterday from the China Virus (what we should be calling it). As bad as the hysterics are the deniers.
Let's all be prudent, self-isolate, care for our middle-agers and seniors, shop for them, wear a mask if you have one around them, encourage them to stay home.
We need to do our part. To do otherwise is imprudent, willful, and just may get a lot more people killed.

You had the fool Dems try to take away POTUS ability to close travel to suspect countries. Where'd we be at if we had not closed the travel to China when we did?

You know, I may be an hysterical nut, I can't tell anymore, but I just went for a nice, clarifying walk, because sunshine and fresh air are requirements in these days.
I asked my husband, after the walk, "do you think God changes...or is God consistent." He felt God does not change. Ok. When the Destroyer came during the time of Moses, and the people were told to put blood on their lintel, and the destroyer would pass by their homes, God did not seem to indicate they should live life as always, do business in the marketplace, and just carry on trusting all would be well.
We trust God, and if our lives end because of coronavirus or any other reason, today, we trust God. But quarantine seems a good idea, and if we must quarantine ourselves for 4 weeks or so, the world will not end, although we're already getting flack from family about it. Each week we are going to find out what we've got. We are 2 weeks behind Italy, but just maybe, we can hold it back with quarantine and flatten out the curve.
It just doesn't seem like a bad idea.
I hope it all turns out to be inflated. If it does, wonderful, praise God! Hey, God bless all here.
