Wouldn’t be the first time. Remember when the US trained a bunch of “vetted moderates” in Turkey, furnished them with shiny new weapons and equipment, sent them over the border, where they promptly defected to ISIS?

The response from State (J. Kerry, proprietor) – could be summarized as follows: “whoopsies!”

So naturally, we had to equip another intrepid band of “vetted moderates” to do the same thing all over again.

Own comment: 

Anybody who by this point does not know that the U.S. and its Western lap dogs -  not to mention Israel, Saudi Arabia and those other Middle-Eastern allies - are fighting on the side of the Islamists in Syria is willfully ignorant.

On top of formal statements from these people that they are helping Islamists, there have been repeated busts of weapons caches which come straight from NATO stocks, and even the Islamists themselves speaking about their Western handlers.

If your news sources do not make a big deal of this, then it is time to find better ones, because your current ones are run by enemy forces, or at least for their benefit.
