Leviticus, Exodus, Matthew, and Book of Revelation are “filled with imagery of revenge, destruction, death and violence,” the Home Office explained in its rejection letter, adding Leviticus says specifically, “You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you.”

The letter adds, “These examples are inconsistent with your claim that you converted to Christianity after discovering it is a ‘peaceful’ religion, as opposed to Islam which contains violence, rage and revenge".

Own comment: 

It would be iinterestign to know whether the official who refused an asylum on account of the violence in Christianity as evidenced by the Book of Revelation - his/her claim - is a Muslim, a Jew or an atheist.

I strongly suspect it is an atheist, who was baptised Christian but fell away from the faith with an obviously idiotic understanding of the Bible. I presume it would be a fallen-away protestant - the question of whether one can fall away from something which itself is a fall-away not being addressed in this entry, of course.

Eithe way, more proof of the decline of the West and in this particular case, the U.K. which is neither great nor united nowadays.
