Perhaps Joe Biden isn't the only "leader" in mental decline. How can a Catholic, let alone a priest, let alone a bishop, let alone the pope, say this to a Catholic, ANY Catholic? It's not a Catholic statement. Emotions! don't lead. Emotions serve.

Feeling is purely subjective and knowing God’s Mercy is objective. God’s forgiveness is dependent on a firm purpose of amendment and contrition. All are redeemed only few or many are saved.

Francis needs to brush up on the basics of the Catholiic faith, once again
Own comment: 

There is nothing so holy that Bergoglio will not attack it and this is not the first time that he has attacked the Sacrament of Confession.

Of course, he does it in a way which gives him implausible deniability - leaving just about enough space for  his psychophants to twist the words in a manner which makes them almost Catholic  - but for the initiated and the worldly, his message is received loudly and clearly.
