If McCarrick can't be laicized, then they need to excommunicate him. If his actions aren't "gravest" of reasons to remove him, I don't know what is. His stench rots the mind.

It is certainly good of Gloria.tv to ask whether a bishop can be laicised, at least without formal apostasy. 

While nobody can defend anything to do with McCarrick, the issue is far bigger than that particular pervert.
