The good Fr. John Hunwicke has a very good brief attach on the notion that the pope is above Church law. He completely rejects the notion, as do I. It is not a Catholic position and is indeed a caricature of both the words of Christ and the papal office itself.

The world has not come to an end just yet, but it certainly seems to be egging for destruction. It would seem that the destruction it seeks is self-destruction, as we are seeing societies implode from their errors.
