Now that Donald Trump has won the race for the presidency in the U.S., voting guides for that election are past their relevance date. Still, it is worth listening to the homily given by Fr. John Lankeit regarding the elections and how voting for the particular wicked candidate who lost puts one in a state of mortal danger. It is very on point regarding intrinsic evils and prudential decisions.
During one week the U.S. president ordered bombings against 7 different countries. There is no talk of this as this has become the ordinary situation in the warmongering state that is the U.S., a country that does not seem far at all from collapse, to be honest. This situation is discussed on Russia Today's Crosstalk programme.
I do not know much about most of the bishops on the list of Bergoglio's list of cardinal appointments. What I could gather was that none of the 3 American cardinals are actually Catholics, with passing knowledge of at least 2 of them and having looked up the last one - Tobin. At first I thought it was Bishop Thomas Tobin, which would have been a good appointment, but Joseph Tobin seems to be a totally different kettle of fish, a a rotten one at that.
