Church in Belgium

Unholy cow! The persecution of sanity continues - Sunday 19th-Saturday 25th of November

Just when one thought that the brazen public apostasy in the Novus Ordo cannot get any clearer one gets surprised. This time it is an 'art' exhibition in Belgium which feature sa 'crucified' cow sitting atop 5,000 litres of milk. It was, allegedly, supposed to highlight the wastefulness of consumerism, in its own morbid way, of course, it did.

This is not one of those things which are one by some obscure apostate priest in a far-off parish. No, this particular blasphemous act had the express permission of the bishop in question. He even defended it on the grounds that the shock value might bring back people into what are otherwise empty churches.

The good news about this is that the display took place in a church which appears deserted - i.e., not an active church in which we have Mass. The bad news is that the Church is unused the rest of the time, of course. It's no wonder why because with a bishop like that, one cannot help but wonder what other kind of madness takes place in the many unholy parish churches of Belgium.

"Double excommunication": A new term for this week. It turns out that Fr. Allesandro Maria Minutella in Italy has been threatened with a double excommunication for speaking out against Amoris Laetitia - presumably in tones which were too direct for his bishop's liking. He received a 9-month gag order - with which he complied - but upon return resumed his criticism of Amoris Laetitia.

The particular terms of his excommunication ( which I suppose has now been promulgated) I did not quite understand, but it was 2 execommunications all the same, both - it would seem - intended to persecute sanity and truth.

Given the madness at Svenska Kyrkan - the Swedish Lutheran church - it is difficult to know what is a fake news story and a real one. They seem to have been victims of a misinformation campaign in which it was alleged that there had been a proposal to get rid of masculine pronouns in reference to God. This story made the rounds internationally.

I have little doubt that somebody had indeed proposed that but nonetheless the falsity of the news story was that they would stop doing it. The  story as it was put out was denied, and with fair grounds.

The truth though, it turns out is not much farther from the false story. What they will start doing is allow an option to refer to The Holy Spirit in the feminine form, something which they say is generally allowed in spirit - where one can say "anda" or "ande" for spirit. So one will be able to say "Den heliga andan" instead of "Den Helige Anden". This should cause much outrage as well. The Holy Spirit is masculine, and it matters not whether one can use the feminine form for spirit in Swedish when Christ clearly refered to the Holy Spirit in the Masculine form. It is extremely disingenous of them to pretend that this is not a stark deviation from the Christian faith. What was clearly understood to be masculine may now be understood as feminine, by those not in the know - the vast majority, that is.

There is little doubt that as the Swedish language is debased by gender mainstreaming there will one day come a serious proposal to allow non-masculine pronouns for God, and at the rate of madness with which Svenska Kyrkan conducts itself, there is little doubt that this proposal accepted if not outright mandated. A tranny god is what they want to make themselves, instead of the true God. It is blasphemy, at the very least.

Over at Novus Motus Liturgicus, the eminent Dr. Peter Kwasniewski compares the collects of the Novus Ordo Missae with those of the authentic Roman Rite and finds the Novus Ordo gravely wanting. The theological differences are so great as to almost prove the charge that the Novus Ordo is a new religion altogether.

Bergoglian scandals at the Vatican continue, this time with a representative of the world's largest for-profit child-killing company invited to speak at another of Bergoglio's environmental/population control conferences.

Then we have William Kilpatrick wondering why it is that the Church's hierarchy is so friendly with Islam and glosses over the vast differences with regards to the dignity of man, and morality. His point is well-taken, but he is too tinged with a neo-con ideology in order to be taken as a fully-reliable analyst on this. A mark of neo-cons is that they speak of Iran all the time,  and so he does, so I assume that he is one of them.

Whilst I agree with him that NOChurch's stance on Islam is bizarre to say the least, the point he misses is that NOChurch is indifferent to all religions, not just Islam. Furthermore, NOChurch seems to have no stake in reviving what was once Christendom, and one might argue it seems to have a stake in destroying Christendom so as to create something anew.

Since Kilpatrick is a neo-Catholic and not a traditionalist, he seems oblivious to these aspects of the Novus Ordo, and that's why in the end his goal seems to be more to stop Islam (not a bad goal in and of itself) as opposed to reviving Christendom, or at the very least, Christianity.

This week's Bergoglio-victim-of-the-week is without a doubt  Fr. Allesandro Maria Minutella of double excommunication infamy.

A week of commemorations, some good, some Bergogliian - Sunday 29th of October to Saturday 4th of November

This week included the Feast of All Saints, as well as the Feast of All Souls, as all well-informed Catholics will know.

One is an authentic celebration of those who have made it to Eternal Glory spend eternity with God in Heaven. The other is a commemoration of the souls who have not quite made it, inviting us to pray for them and help them along the way. These are the positive commemorations.

It will have escaped the attention of few that this week also marked the 500th anniversary of the protestant revolt. There were many good articles written about this event and the myths that have grown up about it. It's interesting to note that even the  posting of theses to the church door is generally agreed not to have taken place, but is one more myth about that arch-heresiarch. Many of the good articles I found have been linked below, and it would be nice to have a glance at them if you want to know about the real Martin Luther, the one who was condemned by the Church, a rabidly depraved human being who seems to have had little or  no love in him, except of various immoral acts.

One good article was a reprint of an article written 50 years ago in The Wanderer by Bishop William Adrian. It shows that the attempt at rehabilitating Luther has been going on since at least the Second Vatican Council, and what is interesting is that even then the attempt was going against readily available historical data which showed just what a horrble man he was.

We shall not waste much time on him, as we have bigger problems in the Church today than an arch-heresiarch who was excommunicated; in the form of an arch-heresiarch who seems intent on tearing everything Catholic down, and who seems to have very little resistance from the Church's other bishops in his attempts to do so. This same man decided to honour Luther with a blaspemous stamp in which Luther and his associate the the places traditionally associated with the Virgin Mary and St. John. The pose of these people kneeling is unusual as, from what I have read of the man's writings, he is unlikely to have ever got on his knee in front of the Cross or Crucifix after he had apostasised. Even their distortions of history are distorted in other words.

We also had news that Bergoglio has supposedly set up a commission geared towards looking into creating a new ecumenical mass. This time they even bothered to come up with a denial, so at least they know the venture is evil.

It's interesting to note that not even the Novus Ordo Missae is un-Catholic enough for Bergoglio, despite having carried tens and hundreds of millions away from the faith. He wants a novus Novus Ordo, and the blasphemies contained in it we can only imagine. Many disbelieve this story, and I am not sure I am too keen to believe it either, given the Novus Ordo Missae is working just dandily in tearing Catholics away from their faith en masse. However, it is important to remember that the worse a rumour is under this pontificate, the more likely it is to be true, if history is anything to go by. Virtually every bad warning regarding Bergoglio has come to fruition, with the reality being often worse than the rumours.

In an article entitled "Why Catholics should defend indulgences", the Catholic Herald did a good job in explaining the issue of indulgences. It is a very easy read ad a good explanation. That particular newspaper used to be my go-to-site for news, but Bergoglio has left his mark on it. Besides being largely Bergoglio apologists, the newspaper seems often to be little more than neo-cons in Catholic drag, as their very clear support for the Western aggression Libya demonstrated, and it's heavy anti-Russian propaganda. Credit where credit is due though.

This week's Bergoglio-victim-of-the-week was Fr. Thomas Weinandy, who in a rather forthright manner put into writing what he has felt about Bergoglio for a long time. He wrote that Bergoglio has caused "chronic confusion", among other stuff. He also wrote of Bergoglio's hypocrisy in speaking of parrhesia while punishing those who speak up openly in favour of Catholic teaching and against Bergoglian novelties, all the while as Bergoglio rewards those who show nothing but disrespect to the Church's moral authority.

Keen to prove that the terms of its massive grants from the U.S. government does not oblige the USCCB to invest in irony, Fr. Weinandy was promptly dismissed from his position as the USCCB's top doctrinal advisor, swiftly proving that he was right to point out the hypocrisy of FrancisChurch.

I would remiss if I did not take this opportunity to compliment Mundabor on his keen sense of picking out NovusOrdoist tendencies even from people who do good acts. The details of how Fr. Weinandy came to issue his letter to Bergoglio are worth reading about on their own,  but in short, he asked for a sign from God, and a very specific one at that. Once he had received that sign, he felt he should go ahead with airing his grievances. Mundabor notes the fact that it is not a good idea to test God, in the way the priest did. We have a case in which a priest seems to have been forced by God into doing what he should have been doing all along. Given that this particular priest was the head of the doctrinal office, we cannot claim that he does not know right from wrong, so we ought to be afraid that he has led others into thinking that they can test God in similar ways.

It would not be entirely fanciful, for instance, to think that a man with a weakness for a workmate will use the same trick and put a set of conditions which, if met,...

The surviving dubia cardinals might be up to something - Sunday 22nd of October to Saturday 29th of October

There are subtle signs that a reprimand of Bergoglio from the dubia cardinals over Amoris Laetitia might not be long in coming. Yes, I know, we have been waiting well over a year now with nothing but whispers in the background from the cardinals, when they should be howling but 2 things lead me to this suspicion.

First we had Cardinal Burke visiting relics of St. Thomas More and speaking in glowing terms about one's duty to defend the faith at all costs. For those not in the know, St. Thomas More was the layman who was executed by King Henry VIII for opposing his plans to take over the Church in England. Although the particulars of this particular martyrdom have St. Thomas More resisting the king only when he wanted to declare himself head of the Church, the context is that the king wanted to take over the Church as he would not be granted an annulment, seeing as he wanted to shack it up with another woman. St. Thomas More was certainly out of luck for had he lived during a pope as atrocious as Bergoglio, he might well have kept his head, since Bergoglio's take would probably be that they were never married anyway, and that the king would have been more married with a concubine than his legal wife.

Alas, those were easier times from a doctrinal point-of-view, so the good St. Thomas More had little option than to follow the dictates of the LORD and take the consequences. Visiting the relics of this, perhaps the greatest of Englishmen, might give Cardinal Burke strength to do the same.

On another front we had Cardinal Brandmüller come out swinging, telling us that people who claim that adulterers can receive Holy Communion licitly are excommunicated. I am not sure of the particulars, but I would agree with him on the general point: To claim either that adultery is not a mortal sin or that mortal sin does not preclude one from  Holy Communion is a heresy. That Bergoglio holds this position and many other heretical ones is the worst-kept secret in the world.  It would be much easier to issue a reprimand to someone who has had excommunication charges levelled against him than to someone in good standing. So I see these 2 moves in the same week as a signal that something might be about to happen.

I hope against hope that the cardinals are serious about this. Let's be honest: Being a dubia cardinal seems to be just about the most dangerous position in the world right now, with the culling rate that they have experience. Cardinal Brandmüller is 88 years old, so it is not as though he has much time left. Furthermore, we know that it is much easier to make the death of an 88-year old seem natural than the far younger Cardinal Burke, who is still below 70. For his own sake, it might be better if Cardinal Brandmüller issues that correction as soon as possible, as I believe the Bergoglio schemers would be less willing to threaten him after a correction than before.

With these words, I do not claim definitively that the deaths of the 2 other cardinals were due to foul play. However, you will excuse me for concluding that a pope and his minions who do not hesitate to condemn millions to eternity in hell will not hesitate to take the earthly life of 2 elderly cardinals, or 4, or however many it takes.

In "I, Me & the Papacy" we had some words of frustration from One Mad Mom. She is tired of how Bergoglio is all "me, me me, I , I , I , me ...". She does not recal Pope Benedict XVI speaking in the first person so many times. Pope Benedict, alas, was not an attention whore, or a narcissist. I would file this under "Bergoglio pollyanna awakening", as from what I can tell she is far from traditionalist, and I would suspect that she has only been forced into this opinion by the very public way in which Bergoglio pursues his anti-Catholic ends. If there is any good with Bergoglio, it is surely that he has gotten people to realise just what a mess the Church is at this moment in time.

Anti-Russian hysterica continues both in Europe and in the U.S. We had Twitter banning Russian ads, just to press home that they cannot be trusted on anything. In Europe, we had an NGO, so-called, publishing a list of Russia Today's guest, and villifying them for appearing on that news network.  I continue to maintain that the reason Russia is villified so much is because Russia stands for national sovereignty and largely Christian values. It is hard to believe that the U.S.S.R. was villified by these same folks in anything approaching the way that modern Russia is.

Over in Spain, separatists in Catalonia declared independence. They joy from ruling separatist socialists was short-lived as the Spanish government dissolved the parliament and took control of the police forces. From what I have been told, the separatist prime minister is in Brussels, perhaps hiding from embezzlement charges.

This week's prize for Bergoglio victim of the week goes to Catholics who were arrested in Belgium for saying the Rosary, in a Catholic church. The main event at the church was some lutherfest of one kind or another, an ecumenical gathering the likes of which Bergoglio has spent so much time promoting. They join a long and growing list of Bergoglio's victims. If you are a faithful Catholic, or even a half-decent person, you might well find yourself on that list before the man's time is up.
