You don't need God; You have me! Sunday 14th to Saturday 20th of January

There is a lot of ground to cover this week so I shall try to be brief on each topic.

We begin with some good news in the form of a series of articles by the always-unpredictable Fr. Allan J. McDonald. I refer to him as unpredictable because one never knows what he is going to write. One day he could be attacking the latest destructive Novus Ordo novelty and the next day he could be attacking not only an analogous novelty, but the very Novus Ordo mentality that brought the novelty into being in the first place.

This time he published 3 posts on Vatican II, the sum total of which was geared towards defending the Catholic Church pre-dating before Vatican II. He linked to a series on interviews from people who lived before Vatican II, and only one of 6 was negative, and that 6th one turned out to be a bitter feminist who was a toddler at the opening of the Second Vatican Council, so her opinion can be dismissed out of hand. What we have is a snapshot into the life of a Church which was caring, loved and vibrant; a Church which was the centre of the lives of many of her sons and daughters. It was a loving Church which inspired those under her care to aspire to be the best they could be.

In a follow-up post, he responded to a comment from the original piece, in which the notion that the pre-Vatican II Church could not have been that good given that it collapsed virtually overnight once NOChurch went into high gear was advanced. He finished off with citing a study which shows that only 24% of Catholic women in the U.S. go to Church nowadays. This number was naturally much higher before the Novus Ordo. In other words, in spite of - or perhaps, due to - the mass effeminisation programme undertaken by NOChurch authorities, even women find NOChurch unappealing.

On Rorate Caeli, Peter Kwasniewski outlined the Church's traditional wisdom in having post-Christmas and pre-Lented periods, to slow us down from the highs of Christmas before we enter the gloom of Lent. It was a piece well-worth reading.

We were also informed that at least 20% of non-religious people pray, often in times of trouble. I would have thought the figure was higher. So perhaps the old adage that there are no atheists in foxholes should be updated, but I would think that even 80% of the rest have some kind of notion of God, only they let their anger get in the way of their humility. You find it commonly expressed in the "God doesn't exist, because if he did then so-and-so would not have died" and so on.

In the U.K., we had Bishop Egan visiting a foreign diocece and to his dismay and horror most Catholic churches were locked. He did not appreciate that, and neither do I since I have also attempted to go to many churches which I found locked. That this diocese seemed to be in England precludes the possibility that he could have paid a visit during siesta hours. Churches being locked is yet another fruit of Vatican II, and a bitter one at that.

We then get to the bad news, and not entirely unpredictably, these are headed by our very own Bergoglio.

The world's favourite attention-whore was up to his old tricks again, although this time he outdid even himself. On another of his scandalous trips - this time to Chile and Peru to do nobody-knows-what-good, he 'wedded' a couple on the plane, after joking that it is witchcraft which gives him all his wrecking-ball energy. The couple both worked as air stewards, and the story they gave was that Bergoglio by chance inquired as to their marriage status, and finding out that they were not sacramentally married - only civilly -, volunteered to wed them on the plane. I must admit that I never bought the story for a second, because more or less everything Bergoglio does is a stunt. Furthermore, we are talking about a man who says that most couples who are married are not married and many couples who are not married are actually married. It is an unlikely candidate for an inquisition into whether the steward serving him is in a sacramental marriage.

It reminded me of a scene from an X-Men movie, in which the grandfather mutant tells Charles that he doesn't need Cerebro (the machine he uses to reach into far-away minds) in order to reach out to all the world, because he can do with his powers instead, saying "You don't need a machine to amplify your powers. You have me!". Bergoglio was simply stating "You don't need to call on God for marital blessings; You have me!". The mutant seems to have been correct, as he had the power; Bergoglio, not quite so, as he doesn't.

Now, at a wedding Mass, we call down God's blessings on the new couple and pray that they will have a fruitful marriage. Bergoglio obviously seem that a wave of his hand can replace the blessings that are brought down from Heaven upon a newly-wed validly and sacramentally married in the House of God.

It never seemed likely that Bergoglio would warmly speak to flight attendants anyway, as insider portrayals of Bergoglio paint him out as a rather unfriendly man. It seemed even less fanciful that a man who has launched a fully-fledged assaunt on the institution of marriage would care whether a couple was canonically and sacramentally married.

To nobody's surprise, therefore, the whole stunt turned out to have been pre-planned but that didn't stop Bergoglio continuing to lie about the whole event and sticking to the original story.  What id did, however, was show just how irreverent and narcissistic all involved were. No longer could...

The man who might be pope, and actually seems Catholic - Sunday 7th to Saturday 13th of January, 2018

This was, for NOChurch Bergoglian times, a relatively scandal-free week, although this did not spare us notions which would have horrified any even slightly-decent Catholic some 60 years ago or so.

In an interview, Bishop Athanasius Schneider was keen to point out what everyone already knows: Bergoglio has by his intransigence, demagoguery, promotions/demotions and affirmations already answered the dubia questions which were presented to him. In other words, we are in completely uncharted waters and it will no longer do to pretend that Bergoglio is leading the Barque of St. Peter into safe waters, but rather we must face the realisation that he is trying to scuttle the ship. The good bishop did not say that, but  a little creative reading between the lines will tell us that.

A group of converts from Islam has also come to the same realisation and they posted an open letter urging Bergoglio to change his attitudes toward Islam. They point out that conversion to Christianity from Islam comes at great personal cost, so Bergoglio should not be going around minimising the sacrifice that converts make, or confusing the faithful by promoting the notion that Islam, or any other religion for that matter, is the way to God, or even worthy of praise.

The big Bergoglian scandal of the week came with the news that Bergoglio had awarded a pontifical award to a homosexualist abortion promoter from the Netherlands. The award is titled "The Pontifical Equestrian Order of St. Gregory the Great" and is supposed to be given to those who through their actions have shown great devotion to the teachings of Holy Mother Church, so we are all longing to know just which of these miscreant's multiple acts of violence against the Catholic faith Bergoglio thinks should be incorporated into the Catechism. The Vatican's defence was that she was awarded the medal for being a visiting diplomat, which as far as excuses go, seems to have been plucked from the equivalent of meat which isn't fit enough to go into  sausages for dogs (if there even is such low-grade meat that is).

The curious thing is that nobody was particularly surprised: We have all got used to the fact that Bergoglio is a death merchant. "Does Pope Francis Have No Shame?", we were asked. The answer, of course, is "no, he is utterly shameless!"

Sticking to the topic of Bergoglio and his death merchant and perverts, a member of the 'Academy for Life' appointed by Bergoglio informed us that couples (by which I, not wanting to waste too much time reading his filth, suppose he means married coupes) are in certain circumstances obliged to use contraception.

Fr. John Hunwicke picked up on an article written in the Catholic Herald titled "How to save the English Church" and was supportive of the ideas proposed. These ideas are that there are places in England which have shown that it is possible to revitalise parishes, if only they are handed over to people who have a sense of purpose. Those parishes entrusted to the Institute of Christ the King in particular have borne great fruit. The author wondered why some of these parishes should not be also handed over to the Ordinariate.  We would all like to know.

Over in Iran, they have now banned English in primary schools in an effort to end/combat "Western cultural invasion". Maybe when they are done trying it over there they can export the idea abroad. I am actually in 100% agreement with them that without English the moral corruption of the youth through popular culture is likely to be much more difficult. Let them learn Chinese or Russian, or Latin!

We were also informed that Bergoglio might have plans in the making to force every priest to swear allegiance to him, as opposed to the Church. We shall keep a watchful eye on this story. It certainly seems to fit the personality of the man, but I doubt it will happen. He doesn't need to anyway, since he has much, if not most, of the NOChurch establishment doing his bidding.

Okay, having written this much, I now realise that the week was actually yet another horrible NOChurch week, but I am done with the bad news...

We did have good news the best of which came with the installation of Archbishop Michel Aupetit in the Archdiocese of Paris. I am not quite sure how this man has managed to slip the Bergoglian drag net because he actually seems more than decent. We are, after all, talking about an appointment by a man who seems to seek out the darkest corners of the Church for the most devious perverts before he makes an appointment, and who seems to reject decent choices in favour of indecent ones, so this appointment is a schock, frankly speaking. Even The Remnant lauded the man, and praise from The Remnant does not come cheap; nor should it. I have previously written that I see this man as papabilia, and I have yet to come across bad news regarding him. He is anti-abortion and anti-euthanasia, seems actually Catholic, and has a hollistic view of medical ethics which he has presented in a well-reviewed book, so he is likely to dive arm-deep into the ethical issues plaguing France at the moment. Having been a doctor, he is more than capable of holding his own against those who use trade jargon to promote inaccuracies and outright falsehoods.

I look forward to learning more about the man and if he is even half as good as he seems then it seems promosing.

Our sometimes-friend-sometimes-foe always opinionated Fr. Allan J. McDonald had a piece on how to "popularise ad orientem without disorienting the laity", in response to a piece written by Msgr. Charles Pope. I am in agreement with one of the commenters to the piece who wrote:...

Fidelity to the Church, and not to perverted shepherds - Sunday 31st of December, 2017 to Saturday 6th of January, 2018

This entry covers the last day of last year and the first few days of this year. It is indeed fitting that it covers the last day of last year because an event took place on that day that could well set the tone for the year in the Church.

Over in Kazakhstan, 3 bishops issued a profession of fidelity towards the teaching of the Church and against Bergoglio's heresies in Amoris Laeitia. It was a very direct attack on Bergoglio's teaching, and although it did not attack Bergoglio by name, everyone took it as a direct attack on Bergoglio himself.

Those 3 bishops have now been joined by 4 other retired ones, including 1 cardinal, from Latvia. It is sad that no other active bishops have joined in the profession, but I suppose we would not have expected anything else really, given the sad state of NOChurch. Truth be told, if the number rises to about 100 bishops then it won't matter whether none of the other signatories are in activey ministry.

There are some who feel that the profession should have called out Bergoglio for his heresies directly, and I am not inclined to disagree. However, it is a good step, and far more than the dubia cardinals have been doing. If nothing else it will be one more large nail into the coffin of Bergoglio, in the condemnation which will surely come once the Church regains her sanity.

Speaking of dubia cardinals: Not content with Bergoglio having stayed silent on the dubia presented to him, Cardinal Brandmüller has now answered his own dubia! Good grief, just when you thought the dubia circus couldn't get any more comical!

Look, there is not a single even half-decently informed Catholic who was in any doubt as to what the faithful answers to those dubia were. If this is the cardinal's attempt to draw a line under the whole dubia episode then he really will come out of it looking like a clown.

We were informed that the dubia cardinals would issue a formal correction, an event which is still a coming attraction. If the dubia cardinals were trying to bluff Bergoglio then it is one of history's greatest failures, because unless they issue a formal correction, now that Bergoglio has been very forthright in what his intentions are, they will in history be known as not the dubia cardinals but the duped cardinals, or the cardinals who huffed and puffed but couldn't do anything when it counted. At worst, they could come to be known as false opposition.

As I have written before, whatever their intentions, they have been acting as the false opposition already. Perhaps finally tired of the dubia cardinal's formal non-opposition, the Kazakhstan bishops felt they had to do something on their own. Right now the dubia cardinals are looking like attention-seeking clowns; cowardly failures of the highest degree. If they don't want that to continue they need to either keep quiet or issue a formal correction. Nothing else will do at this point in time.

Of course, the path towards the disastrous Bergoglio pontificate started a long time ago, and the most sutitable starting point is with Vatican II, started as it was by an popularity-seeking pope and ended by a very strange pope in the figure of Paul VI. It is this strange pope that is the subject of the newest NOChurch canonisations, as it is rumoured he will be canonised soon. Many wonder what this will mean for the Novus Ordo Missae and over at Novus Motus Liturgicus, it is argued that it will not mean much since many popes who have been canonised have had their legislation pulled back at a later date. I think he is too optimistic, and we can count on the Novus Ordites to constantly sing the praises of the Novus Ordo since they will now have a 'saint' as its promulgator. Louie Verrechio argues that his canonisation cannot come soon enough, for reasons he is better off elucidating than I. Hint: He is no fan of the man.

On the topic of Paul VI, I stumbled upon a very interesting article on akaCatholic which discussed the Church's stance on homosexuality and how this changed under this pope; I had not been aware that it had changed. It was rumoured at the time he was living, from many socialites, that he himself was a sodomite. I only became aware of these allegations by reading the article and I must admit that I had never heard such stories before. The claims are substantiated though so it would seem as though a lot of people in Rome and beyond thought he had a homosexual past at the very least. This does not seem as though it can be put down to the sodomites trying to claim every one as their own, given the diversity of the claimants.

If this man is canonised, this is one which is likely to be used further on to show that NOChurch canonisations were dubious, defective and done for the wrong reasons. I suspect it is more than likely that it will be one more bullet in the arsenal against NOChurch, once the Catholic Church regains her sanity, and I have no doubt the she will, and that NOChurch will come to be condemned and the appropriate lessons learned from it's reign.

Let's face it: Bergoglio is not the only sub-standard NOChurch pope. I stumbled upon a story in which the former Gahanian President Kufour states that he received a pontifical knighthood from Pope John Paul II himself, despite having explained that he was a freemason. I am the last person who defends Bergoglio as I think the man is exactly as evil as he seems, but it is injust to lay the blame of NOChurch apostasy all, or even principally, on that Argentinian pervert. There is plenty of blame to go...

The Real Benedict option in these desperate NOChurch times

The term "Benedict option" is normarlly used to refer to a course of action which leads people away from the midst of a messy society and into seclusion, from where they can regroup and re-introduce sanity into the society. It refers to St. Benedict, the founder of Western monasticism, who did just that and whose monastic communities would go on to save the cultural inheritance of Europe after the fall of the Roman Empire.

There was a book published not too long ago titled "The Benedict Option" in which an apostate - to Orthodoxy and who is said to be a self-promoter so I'll not mention his name or link to his articles- argues for much the same thing. The fact that St. Benedict strove to secure and promote the Catholic faith does not seem to faze the author, and some reviewers of the book have noted that without the authority of the Church, we would still end up with the same situation since a secluded society, even of moralists, would soon run into disputes about what was moral and what was not. Some would counter that by pointing to the fact that the Catholic Church - at least its earthly hierarchy - has been largely responsible for the destruction of morality in much of the world, a charge I do not dispute. Of course, NOChurch does by no means share the soul of the Catholic Church, but that's a topic for another day.

The biggest fallacy of the author seems to be the presupposition that a secluded society which insists on moral grounds would be left alone by the decadent world around it. There seems to be little grounds for that presupposition given that the modern state does not recognise any sphere in human affairs in which it is not entitled to not only interfere but actually dictate. In the future though, after this particularly self-destructive phase of Western civilisation (or what's left of it anyway) has crumbled, out of the ashes we might well end up having a Benedict option similar to the origial one, which rebuilds what's left of former Christendom.

However, I would like to argue that there does exist in these dark times of the Bergoglian papacy a real Benedict option which we cannot simply dismiss. It requires a re-definition of what is commonly known as the "Benedict option" and it refers rather to a pope, and not a monk, not withstanding the fact that this particular pope told us he would like the life of a monk, though he only manages to make a half-decent impression of one.

The pope in question, of course, is Pope Benedict XVI, and the real "Benedict option" is the notion that Bergoglio is not really the pope, but that Pope Benedict XVI is still the rightful pope.

This notion was popularised by Ann Barnhardt, who pursued it with the "tenacity of of a psychopath", to quote a very good moving which uses the those words to describe  a detective who pursues a very far-fetched theory in attempting to solve a murder of one of his colleagues, and manages to find the murderer in doing so,

As Bergoglio's manners have deteriorated towards total open depravity, more and more have bought into the notion that he is not pope. After all, isn't a Pope supposed to be Catholic? How can a Catholic poke fun at the Holy Trinity? How can a Catholic  insult the mother of God  - multiple times? How can a Catholic insult those who attempt to convert others to the one true faith, while praising some of the most immoral apostates in history in the process? How can a decent priest surround himself with sodomites and paedophile-enablers? How can a pope attack the sacred institution of marriage? How can a pope promote sodomy? How can an even half-decent Catholic shower praise at mass murderers and mass abortionists? How can an even moderately sub-intelligent human being advance the notion that youth unemployment is root cause of evil in the world today? How can a pope state that communists are the real Christians? I could go on and on and on, and on...

The simple answer to that is that Bergoglio is not Catholic, and more or less the only people who believe that Bergoglio is Catholic are the neo-Catholics of the see-no-evil-hear-no-evil-or-pretend-it-is-good-if-the-pope-does-it Novus Ordite variety. Most traditionalists, I would argue, have realised that Bergoglio is not pope, and most non-Catholics who follow the man realise that he also is not Catholic, which is why it is popular among modernists and leftists to openly state that Bergoglio is attempting to completely revamp the Church but is being held back by conservatives and resisters (i.e., that he is not Catholic). In fact, Bergoglio has used much the same words, as have a few of his closest collaborators.

In claiming that Bergoglio is not Catholic, I am naturally counting as Catholic someone who actually believes in the Catholic faith, in Holy Mother Church as the Church divinely instituted by Christ, and one who desires to further her divinely-commissioned purpose: the salvation of souls. Strictly speaking, of course, a Catholic is anybody baptised into the Catholic Church by either baptism or blood. That allows us to use a more theological than cultural definition, while also allowing us to rule out as Catholics such as Martin Luther, Adolf Hitler, Arius and the like, who in a strict application of the term are simply bad Catholics and not non-Catholics.

The basic premise is this: The Church is a communion of faith, and those who deviate or reject even a portion of the faith find themselves outside this communion. Our heretic-in-chief has rejected a large chunk of the faith. Truth be told, it would be difficult to point to any aspect of the Catholic faith that he actually accepts. The only thing he seems to embrace papal authority, albeit with a totally faulty conception of it and its duties, because he really only seems to...

The man may not be totally useless after all - Sunday 24th to Saturday 30th of December

The last full week of the year came, and this naturally included the Feast of the Nativity, or Christmas as it is more popularly known.

As one might intimate from my blog, I am not a fan of Bergoglio in the slightest. However, he is not totally useless, as he at least keeps me away from home on Christmas Eves.

To be fair, I had more or less decided to attend the Christmas Midnight Mass even before Bergoglio popped up dressed as pope, but he nudged me over the edge, and now I attend Christmas Mass every time, or the closest approximation we have of it anyway.

I used to enjoy watching Pope Benedict XVI celebrate Midnight Mass, even though I had come more and more to despise the Novus Ordo mass he used for the celebration, so chances are that I would have stopped watching sooner or later. I remember that they had a very beautiful statue of the baby Jesus who they put in the crib after the Midnight Mass.

Then came Bergoglio and the beautiful baby Jesus statue was replaced by something which looked more like what one picks up from one of those cartons they dish out with children's meals at fast food restaurants, except much bigger. Some claimed it looked like something from a Lidl store, but having bought a lot of quality stuff from that store, I can assure my readers that it has far better quality than whatever they made that statue from. It was more or less the most plactic thing I had seen, and the sad thing is I am not even sure it was made from plastic/rubber. It looked like one of those rubbery shapes one fills up with water to float in a bathtub.

As we now know, turning to ugly is part of Bergoglio's main strategy for destroying the Catholic faith and it has gone even more downhill from there.

It was a quiet week in the Church - at least I did not pick up on any scandals or any overly good news. The one thing that made the news was how much Bergoglio's attendance numbers at the Urbi et Orbi speech have dwindled. There is no doubt that he has fewer numbers now than he had during his first speech, and definitely far fewer than Pope Benedixt XVI had at his last.

It was indeed interesting to compare the two images as one can clearly note that Pope Benedict XVI on his final Urbi et Orbi speech had a far larger crowd coming to listen to him in 2013  in less pleasing weather, than Bergoglio had on a sunny day in 2017.

The word is out: If I want to be insulted for being Catholic I can save money and time and avoid the Vatican and simply get my insults from any third-rate raving leftist closer to home, or failing that, on the television.

In other Church news, one of Bergoglio's closest perverts, Cardinal Tobin, says that he is in favour of female cardinals. He says he sees no reason why that should not be the case, and then adds "maybe my theology isn’t sophisticated enough". In other words, he is trying to say that he doesn't get it, surprising nobody, since the list of what Tobin gets would seem to be shorter than the number of times the man has skipped a meal. That we can have lay cardinals is one thing, but of course, cardinals have always been considered part of the Church hierarchy, and the hierarchy in the Church is partriarchal. Maybe he deos have a good - by his standards - intention. It could be that he realises that news of homosexual orgies at the Vatican is extremely negative and he wants to tidy up some headlines by spicing up the orgies at the Vatican or some such thing. One is inclined to conclude something to that effect as we can almost certainly rule out a moral motive.

We were also informed that another of Bergoglio's close associates - perhaps his closest - is suspected of huge financial corrpution in Honduras. He naturally denied it, and Bergoglio even went as far as offering his condolences to him for the trouble that others are causing for him. This is, of course, the cardinal who was revealed - through Wikileaks - of having accepted a large sum of money in order to help Bergoglio's trip to the U.S. have a decidedly leftist bent - as if Bergoglio or his advisors needed any help with that agenda. The Eponymous Flower titled their article "Pope Intimate and Poverty Poser Receives $600,000 a Year to Do Nothing" which, if it were true, I would happily approve - if all it took to get Maradiaga to do nothing was to pay him a small fortune.

Whatever one may think of Bergoglio, one cannot avoid at the very least the fact that he keeps very corrupt and perverted company, and then we ought to recall something about birds of a feather and flocking together.

Over at the Southern Orders Page, Fr. Allan J. McDonald once again proves that celebrating the Tridentine Mass is no guarantee of Catholic sanity as the man argues that Pope Paul VI should be canonised - there are rumours that a secodn miracle has been approved or soon will be in any case. The intersting thing is that he offers Humanae Vitae as the reason why Paul VI should be canonised, and the fact that he put aside Bugnini. So he is asking us to believe that although Pope Paul VI allowed the heretical notion that contraception could be permitted before condemning that notion, although not in any way enforcing that condemnation by means of ecclesiastical penalties, and then tossed Bugnini away from Rome after Bugnini had managed to ruin the Church's liturgies and disciplines he showed "heroic virtue" or can be held up...

Bergoglio gets his annual Christmas spank on, and sucking a banana in public may not be all it's cracked up to be - Sunday 17th to Saturday 23rd of December

In Rome, Bergoglio was up to his usual annual Christmas insults to the Roman Curia. This is what Novus Ordo Watch, the sedevacantist website, called the "annual spanking".

It is hard to imagine that there is any other organisation in the world which would tolerate a leader who does not believe in its mission statement and spends most of his time demoralising his subordinates all-the-while praising the competitors. Yet that is what we have in Bergoglio. In a sense, I suppose this serves to prove that the Church is not of human hands, for had it been, it would have collapsed into oblivion ages ago. Perhaps Bergoglio serves a positive purpose then, after all.

It is good nonetheless to see opposition towards Bergoglio spreading over much of the Church, and while it is true that it has not become entirely mainstream yet, we have a lot of people feeling emboldened enough to poke fun of Bergoglio assuming a context which would only have been knowable by a small group of faithful some 2 months ago. The satire I have particularly in mind is a cartoon version of Raymond Arroyo interviewing Bergoglio. It's hit-count is not astronomical at this time of writing, but I would expect it to grow. The youtube channel itself seems set up specifically to combat modernists and it is telling that the 2 first videos feature Bergoglio.

There is also no hint of the creators being traditionalists, so we can assume that criticism of Bergoglio, disregard for his false humility and realisation of his hubris has spread far and wide. As I often say, it is only neo-Catholics who don't seem to see it, as both modernists and the secular world clearly are of the opinion that Bergoglio is one of them.

Some kind of good news, of sorts, in Egypt, also was brought to my attention. These have to do with a pop singer who was sentenced to jail over lewd acts in a music video, which included sucking a banana in a sexually suggestive way, presumably - I could only get through a section of the music video, and this was the non-banana part. Her director was also sentenced to prison. She got 2 years. I highly doubt that she will spend that much time in prison, but it's important to note the was sentenced to prison for corrupting public morals. Many will point to this and see nothing but Islamic subjugation but the fact of the matter is that public decency is a cause worth fighting for and if the Muslims are doing it then we should applaud them for it. If the Western world had punished celebrities who corrupted public morality we would hardly be in the mess in which we currently find ourselves.

Over at the U.N., Trump and the U.S. were reprimanded by both the U.N. Security Council - which the U.S. naturally vetoed as the only member voting against - and then at the U.N. General Assembly after the U.S. had vetoed as the sole dissenter. The issue was condemning Trump for recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and proclaiming that the U.S. embassy would be moved there, in direct contravention of international law, which I have been led to believe, considers Jerusalem to be occupied Palestinian territory. It's interesting that despite all their overt threats, the U.S. only managed to get 8 states on its side - most of them "micro-states" , including the occupying country, of course -  in a vote it lost 128-9, with 34 abstentions, if memory serves me right.

We had Nikki Haley, a woman with a Ph. D in hillbilly studies according to Russia Today's show host Peter Lavelle, threatening that she would be taking notes and reporting who voted against them, with Donald Trump chiming in that the U.S. would stop sending aid money to countries which voted against them, and Haley again saying that since the U.S. pays most of the money they deserve respect. I shall briefly point out here that the U.S. gets more money from the U.S. than any other nation on account of all the diplomatic missions stationed in New Yor, as well as the fact that if all you have is "I'll kick you in the courtyard later" and "I pay more than you so I am always right", you really do prove that you have no leg to stand on. I very much applaud the members of the U.N. which took the U.S. to task on this.

Some felt that Britain betrayed America in voting against them in the U.N. Security Council. This should alert any Brit as to how Americans see the U.K. - as nothing more than a poodle to whatever policy the U.S. laps up.

One man who got a filip from this was Erdogan, who is desperately trying to position himself as the leader of the Muslim world. He warned Muslims that "Muslims may lose Mecca if they fail to hold on to Jerusalem". Frankly, I doubt that much will come of t his move, as Trump must well know. The Arab countries are far too tied down to American policy and far too duplicitous to make any demands against the U.S. on this.  Although the decision bodes badly for Trump's morality, as a political decision it was quite shrewd - no tangible downside and many upsides, domestically at least. At least it ends the facade that the U.S. was an impartial mediator in the Middle-Eastern conflicts.

Truth be told, Donald Trump's foreign policy to date has been nothing short of disastrous. It would be much better if he only stuck to domestic policy - where he has an almost flawless score, a 95% rate by my count - and withdrew from international meddling altogether. In fact, that is the very platform on which he ran!

One good bright spot from the U.S. was the head of their ministry...

So perverted they insist on soiling the nativity scene at St. Peter's Square, not just their apartments - Sunday 10th to Saturday 16th of December

The big issue of the week was without a doubt the blasphemous and distasteful horror show that Bergoglio's Vatican decided to label a nativity scene and parade in front of everyone to see.

It is as though their perversions run so deep that Bergoglio's gang cannot keep their homo-eroticism to themselves but must parade it to everyone. The overriding concern form me is: Just what is so unedifying about the miracle of Christmas that it requires other stuff to complement it? Yes, I know there is such a thing as a Neapolitan nativity scene, in which more characters than those central to the nativity are displayed, but those are done in good taste and the Holy Family is never obscured, nor are one's sensitivities offended. In Bergoglio's nativity scene, what we have is a set in which one struggles to locate the Holy Family amidst the rubble floating in front, above, below and to the side of them.

Nobody objects to the corporal works of mercy, but "to everything there is a season" and surely nobody believes that Bergoglio and his gang pulled this stunt innocently? No, they must have known what an offence it would cause and how it would detract from the Christmas miracle! Then we have the homosexual themes of it, which, coming as it does from Montevergine, stretches far deeper than what one might have first thought, as we were informed by Lifesite News. The sexual deviancy part of it was well highlighed by Fr. Ray Blake in a piece which made my comment-of-the-day:

A more real concern, which one blogger highlighted was the 'clothing the naked' scene, he highlighted it with the caption, "I was at Cocco's (Cardinal Cocopalmero) place partying and the next thing I woke up here", The naked figure does indeed look more like someone from a gay gym or party, rather than an emaciated beggar forced to sell even his clothing, which is unfortunate in the Roman Church which is torn by gay scandals and homo-eroticism.

The best take on the nativity scene was by the sedevacantist Novus Ordo Watch in "The Frankie Horror Picture Show: A Look at the Vatican’s harrowing Nativity Scene". They analyse almost every piece in some detail and point out more than anything else the lack of joy in the figures. Enough of that sordid mess, because the fallout from Bergoglio's suggestion to ammend the Pater Noster rumbled on.

Over at AKA Catholic, Louie Verrechio had an exclusive of what Bergolio's new prayer would look like:

The Bergoglian Pater

Our Father, who art full of surprises

Known by many names

Thy Bible strange

Thy doctrines change

On Earth we make our own Heaven

Give us a break from all you said

And forgive us our trespasses

As we give illegals free-passes against us

And worry us not about tradition

But deliver us a pizza

It was obviously in jest, but it's a good summation of what Bergoglio thinks we ought to be doing in stead of praying to God for our eternal salvation, and using the Church to help us get there.

Fr. Hunwicke also had his take on it, and compared Bergoglio to a spoilt toddler brat - in an insult to spoilt brats everywhere:

What repeatedly ... it seems, almost daily !! ... irritates me about PF is his endless propensity to treat the Depositum Fidei, the Universal Church and what she has inherited from the Apostles or from the generations since, as something which is at his disposal to change, to criticise, or to mangle in any way that appeals to his personal whimsy at any particular moment. He is like a toddler who has been given toys to play with ... a big, boisterous and wilful child who likes to play with them rather roughly; whose commonest phrase is "I want ...". If anyone suggests that he should perhaps handle them rather more gently, he throws a tantrum.

Finally, Mundabor in his anti-Bergoglian manners titled his piece "Our Pope, Who Art An Idiot", which pretty much summed up the content of his piece, and of Bergoglio's general behaviour. His most telling piece follows:

As pretty much always, the problem with Francis is that he does not believe in God. Not believing in God, he thinks that the church is a purely human construct. He also clearly believes that this human construct has done pretty much everything wrong before electing him Pope.

That article also made it to my comment-of-the-day.

"The Dictator Pope" continued to propagate, and once again, I must bring in Fr. Ray Blake for his thoughts on this one, in another piece which made it as the day's comment:

I finished that book, 'The Dictator Pope', a few days ago. There was very little that was new in it but it is shocking when scandals are brought together in a catalogue of vice. This is certainly not a book I would recommend most people reading, especially those who are easily shocked.

It portrays a picture of an arbitrary self-seeking princeling with few virtues and practically every vice. For those who hear confessions regularly it gives an insight into the cup which is clean on the outside but full of corruption on the inside.

One of the things that the book shows is just how fake Bergoglio's popularity is. I have long maintained that Bergoglio's popularity is an invention of the fake media. The book more or less confirms this, showing that attendance figures from Bergoglio's general audiences have declined very starkly. It is so bad, that we were informed that they have stopped counting (or at least publishing) these numbers to avoid further embarassment for the attention-whore-in-chief. True to form, this one also made it as a comment of the day.

An interview with the author was published,...

A 2000-year old mistranslation, corrected by his humbleness - Sunday 3rd to Saturday 9th of December

In a good stroke of luck, I discovered a blog through Rorate Caeli, by a young woman who has now become a nun. From what I could tell she went from being your ordinary run-of-the-mill Novus Ordo Catholic, to taking the faith seriously, then to embracing tradition and finally becoming a postulant. From what I understand she would much rather have joined the Fransican Sisters of the Immaculate, but on account of Bergoglio's attempt to strangle that order, she had to choose another order.

Her blog is well-worth reading - although it is not actively maintained nowadays - as is her entry on the topic of veiling. In many ways I do feel that the Church will never improve unless we get back to doing the simple things right, and there is surely nothing easier than the rule in the Church regarding head-covering.

Over in Moscow, they are getting tired of American propaganda and aggression towards all and sundry. The comment by Sergei Lavrov that the U.S. should come out in the open regarding whether it is trying to provoke North Korea into a military confrontation as a pretext to destroying it or not was very telling. Fortunately, North Korea has now demonstrated that it has both a powerful nuclear weapon and the means to deliver this nuclear weapon to parts whose victims the U.S. would not dismiss simply as collateral damage - i.e., much if not all of the continental United States.

Being on the side of North Korea on anything is certainly something I never thought I would ever do, but on this issue the lines are perfectly drawn and North Korea is completely in the right and the U.S., as usual, completely in the wrong.

The speed with which the North Koreans have developed their missile capacity is nothing short of striking. It gives me the impression that they have received help, and I suspect this came mainly from China. We have all seen how aggressively the U.S. has approached the border of Russia in Europe and the Chinese will have been taking notes. The last thing they want is to have the U.S. doing the same thing next to them - and Russia, I suspect, would do a whole lot to prevent this as well. In that context, although the Chinese would certainly want to keep the nuclear club as tiny as possible, helping North Korea along its nuclear weapons programme would certainly seem a much more acceptable solution than having the world's most warfaring state right on their doorstep, and it is not unlikely that the Chinese have had a big hand in helping the North Koreans with their weapons so as to maintain the status quo rather than forcing the Chinese into countering the U.S. militarily  head-on.

Whether or not the warfare industry in the U.S. has received these very clear warnings is something else altogether. I am almost at the point whereby I want the U.S. to do something in the Korean Peninsula as I am certain that it would be the end of U.S. hegemony and would bring down their murderous foreign policy to a grinding halt more or less for good. Naturally, I do not want to see anyone dying either so I would much rather the U.S. stopped acting like a bully and came to its senses.

On the topic of 'failed' U.S. policies, we now find that Libya once again has slave markets. We can certainly dismiss the notion that the U.S. is in any way interested in fighting Islamists as the only thing the U.S. has done consistently in the world over the last 30 or so years is to put Islamists in power, and make it harder for local Christians to go about their lives. In the latter case, this even applies to their domestic policy. The editors of the Catholic Herald should hang their heads in shame given how strongly the pushed for a war in Libya.

Staying on the topic of U.S. mess-ups, we have Saakashvili creating a mess in Ukraine- all the while proving to everyone that he is rather messed up - , the same Ukraine which benefited from one of the customary Western-backed coups that make things much worse than they were before. It is frightening to think that we had senior members in the U.S. establishment saying that the U.S. should take in Georgia as a member of NATO and therefore leave the decision on whether to start a NATO-Russia war to these types of madmen, a point that Pat Buchanan makes with not a little bit of gloating and bemusement. To be fair though, madmen don't come loonier than McCain and some of the other warmongers in the U.S. establishment. We now have the comical scene of a Georgian stooge creating political instability for the Ukrainian stooge in Ukraine. The only thing which would make the situation more comical were if the media was to start calling a man who has spent much of his adult life denouncing Russia - Saakashvili - an agent of Vladimir Putin, which seems to be the extent of the intellectual depth of the mainstream Western establishment. Thumbs up for Western interventions!

It would not be an entry without coverage of NOChurch madness. This week's comes in the form of Bergoglio calling for the Pater Noster to be changed. Well, he did not call for an exact change, but rather he wants it to be translated in such a way as to change the meaning of the original. Evidently, we have a pope who cannot take the time to explain that the LORD does not lead us into evil and temptation, so he wants the prayer changed so as to leave Catholics non-confused about it.

Look, this is just another Bergoglio strawman. Which person on the Earth has ever picked up the Pater Noster as the first thing he did on his Christian...

Some good news out of Europe for a change - Sunday 26th of November to Saturday 2nd of December

Given the general somewhat-negative emphasis of this blog, I feel duty-bound to begin with some rare good news - Catholic or secular - coming out of Europe. These news come from Poland, perhaps not entirely surprisingly.

I have my misgivings about the apparent re-Catholicisation of Poland, being generally wary of the nationalistic bend it seems to have. Anyone who knows me will know that I support nationalists in all their stripes, so long as they don't bring with them baggage of ethnic or racial ideologies. I can't claim that I have seen much of that in Poland, but I am still suspicious that the modest but noteworthy increase in Catholic social life in Poland has more to do with the Poles trying to craft out a national identity. In this  context, turning to Catholicism works very well since it unites a large chunk of Poles - presumably even German Poles - given that it is not on purely ethnic lines, and they can be unified in Catholic grandeur, which built all that is good about Europe. It also manages to differentiate Poland from its secularist/atheist enemies to the West and North - primarily Germany and the Nordic countries -  and it's long-time Orthodox adversaries - in the form of Russia - to the East. It also allows them to keep out Muslims on the culture card, without getting into issues of Islam itself.

Credit where credit is due though, and the news that Poland was going to phase out Sunday trade by the year 2020 was some of the best news that I have heard or read in a very long time. It is something which wreaks of a true religious revival - which whatever the intentions from the political class - might actually end up being long-lasting, regardless of who comes to or stays in power in the country. Naturally the leftists, or so I have been informed, were opposed to it, but it would seem as though the cultural marxist's general treachery to the Polish people will not be soon forgotten and it would seem as though the Law and Justice party or some similar nationalistic entity in Poland will be there for a while.

Furthermore, it is politically difficult to get rid of Sunday as a day of rest given that I am pretty sure that the Sunday rest was abolished by the communists, and one does not make many friends in Poland by making oneself a defender of Soviet policies. It's a very shrewd political move, and I applaud it unhesitatingly.

Sticking to Europe, we have more proof of its downfall in a handful of stories. In Germany and other places they have started decorating their 'diversity barriers', wrapping them up as Christmas presents. That's the most appropriate term for the barriers that they have put up on pedestrian walkways and roads leading to Christmas markets. Since we all know why they have to be put up in the first place, it would be much more honest to just paint a picture of Mohammed on them rather than pretend that they are part of the Christmas attire. I should point out that the town centre close to where I live has also put up diversity barriers - presumably to protect its Christmas market -, but alas has not gone to the trouble of wrapping up.

We were also informed that the Muslim population in Europe is set to grow, up to 25% of the population in some places, by the year 2050, and that is with zero immigration.

The Muslims do the right thing in having children, and that is to be applauded. It is the West which is to be chided for deriding the miracle of procreation. That snobbery may well prove to be its downfall, and it will be just reward for its open-armed embrace of the culture of death.

In the U.K. there was a feminist march, and feminists did what they do best which is to display their stupidity and entitlement. One of them even took the trouble to inform people that the Bible is more violent than the Koran. She should know, she told us, being a former Catholic herself. It has featured as one of my day's comments, but I'll reproduce 2 very poignant parts of the analysis from Tantumblogo. The first one clearly lays the blame for the woman's ignorance for the Novus Ordo, and I naturally agree:

“I’ve read passages [of the Koran] and the Bible is a lot more violent.  I should know, I’m a former Catholic.”  Another triumph for the post-conciliar Church!

The second one was his take on feminism itself, and feminists in general:

Which brings me to my final point – I will probably offend some in saying this, or how I say this, but I have long had a sense that many feminists are really little more than out of control teenage daughters who keep acting more and more outrageously in the increasingly forlorn hope that “dad” – society, males at large, whatever – will rein them in.  And the longer they are allowed to continue acting out, the more hurt and upset and, subsequently radicalized, they become.  It’s like they are a toddler constantly trying to find some boundary that daddy will set for them.  In their rage in finding none in the collectively weak Western men of the past 60 years, they will even turn to the cruel, draconian authoritarianism of islam to find some entity that seems to care about them enough to tell them no, to set firm limits, and make them turn over the dang car keys.

It is difficult to disagree with that either. As I wrote in my comment to the bizarreness of the whole spectacle:

I am also at a loss to understand what these women are marching for, given that the laws in most formerly Christian countries can hardly favour women more. The

Unholy cow! The persecution of sanity continues - Sunday 19th-Saturday 25th of November

Just when one thought that the brazen public apostasy in the Novus Ordo cannot get any clearer one gets surprised. This time it is an 'art' exhibition in Belgium which feature sa 'crucified' cow sitting atop 5,000 litres of milk. It was, allegedly, supposed to highlight the wastefulness of consumerism, in its own morbid way, of course, it did.

This is not one of those things which are one by some obscure apostate priest in a far-off parish. No, this particular blasphemous act had the express permission of the bishop in question. He even defended it on the grounds that the shock value might bring back people into what are otherwise empty churches.

The good news about this is that the display took place in a church which appears deserted - i.e., not an active church in which we have Mass. The bad news is that the Church is unused the rest of the time, of course. It's no wonder why because with a bishop like that, one cannot help but wonder what other kind of madness takes place in the many unholy parish churches of Belgium.

"Double excommunication": A new term for this week. It turns out that Fr. Allesandro Maria Minutella in Italy has been threatened with a double excommunication for speaking out against Amoris Laetitia - presumably in tones which were too direct for his bishop's liking. He received a 9-month gag order - with which he complied - but upon return resumed his criticism of Amoris Laetitia.

The particular terms of his excommunication ( which I suppose has now been promulgated) I did not quite understand, but it was 2 execommunications all the same, both - it would seem - intended to persecute sanity and truth.

Given the madness at Svenska Kyrkan - the Swedish Lutheran church - it is difficult to know what is a fake news story and a real one. They seem to have been victims of a misinformation campaign in which it was alleged that there had been a proposal to get rid of masculine pronouns in reference to God. This story made the rounds internationally.

I have little doubt that somebody had indeed proposed that but nonetheless the falsity of the news story was that they would stop doing it. The  story as it was put out was denied, and with fair grounds.

The truth though, it turns out is not much farther from the false story. What they will start doing is allow an option to refer to The Holy Spirit in the feminine form, something which they say is generally allowed in spirit - where one can say "anda" or "ande" for spirit. So one will be able to say "Den heliga andan" instead of "Den Helige Anden". This should cause much outrage as well. The Holy Spirit is masculine, and it matters not whether one can use the feminine form for spirit in Swedish when Christ clearly refered to the Holy Spirit in the Masculine form. It is extremely disingenous of them to pretend that this is not a stark deviation from the Christian faith. What was clearly understood to be masculine may now be understood as feminine, by those not in the know - the vast majority, that is.

There is little doubt that as the Swedish language is debased by gender mainstreaming there will one day come a serious proposal to allow non-masculine pronouns for God, and at the rate of madness with which Svenska Kyrkan conducts itself, there is little doubt that this proposal accepted if not outright mandated. A tranny god is what they want to make themselves, instead of the true God. It is blasphemy, at the very least.

Over at Novus Motus Liturgicus, the eminent Dr. Peter Kwasniewski compares the collects of the Novus Ordo Missae with those of the authentic Roman Rite and finds the Novus Ordo gravely wanting. The theological differences are so great as to almost prove the charge that the Novus Ordo is a new religion altogether.

Bergoglian scandals at the Vatican continue, this time with a representative of the world's largest for-profit child-killing company invited to speak at another of Bergoglio's environmental/population control conferences.

Then we have William Kilpatrick wondering why it is that the Church's hierarchy is so friendly with Islam and glosses over the vast differences with regards to the dignity of man, and morality. His point is well-taken, but he is too tinged with a neo-con ideology in order to be taken as a fully-reliable analyst on this. A mark of neo-cons is that they speak of Iran all the time,  and so he does, so I assume that he is one of them.

Whilst I agree with him that NOChurch's stance on Islam is bizarre to say the least, the point he misses is that NOChurch is indifferent to all religions, not just Islam. Furthermore, NOChurch seems to have no stake in reviving what was once Christendom, and one might argue it seems to have a stake in destroying Christendom so as to create something anew.

Since Kilpatrick is a neo-Catholic and not a traditionalist, he seems oblivious to these aspects of the Novus Ordo, and that's why in the end his goal seems to be more to stop Islam (not a bad goal in and of itself) as opposed to reviving Christendom, or at the very least, Christianity.

This week's Bergoglio-victim-of-the-week is without a doubt  Fr. Allesandro Maria Minutella of double excommunication infamy.
