Gloria.tv shared an article from Fr. Hunwicke titled "The worst pope ever"?". He is of the opinion that there have been worse popes.

For my part, I an completely uninteresed in the extra-curricular activities of the pope. The only relevant question is: Was the Church holier after the pope than it was before him? The pope's job is to preach Christ after all.

Using that criteria, the only competition Bergoglio has is Paul VI, who destroyed virtually all tradition. Bergoglio's job is to destroy the faith, it seems, and he has gone about it with gay abandon, not that he has left much tradition intact either.

Bergoglio would seem to have the edge over Paul VI. What's more, he is not even done yet. What's more, his personal life can match any of the worst popes on perversion, and at least none of those tried to lead people away from the faith.
