I tried to post this on Lifsite (but it is still pending...after 8 hours) regarding Cardinal Cupich's complete crap statement of "giving up our cherished belief's" so that we can discern like Francis.

"Just sickening. Total modernist BS from start to finish. This is all about the destruction of the Catholic Church and this man and all like him are abject Heretics of the Highest order and if they do not repent they shall suffer for eternity in Hell.

Spare your people O Lord and deliver us from our persecutors."

There is one thing that I wholeheartedly agree with Cardinal Cupich on: if you want to be like Francis and discern like Francis then you must give up your cherished beliefs that have been handed on to you from Jesus through the Apostles and their successors.

I recommend against doing that, I would rather discern with Jesus and all of the Fathers, Doctors and Saints of the Church.

Filled with disgust for these heinous wolves,

      Fr. RP

PS: I just checked and my post is finally up on LIfeSite. I wish they would have told me why it was in moderation limbo for so long. I can only presume it's because I adjoined the letters B and S. I assume that based on other comments that were much more aggressive than mine that were posted right away. If one cannot say BS, then what can one say?

One of the fine attributes of 1P5 is that, for the most part, one can say things like BS. I should know, as I am a moderator and let many posts stay that I don't agree with the content of, or the manner in which they are delivered, not all mind you, but many.

After a week like this your draw on the wisdom of Cardinal Cupid is still quite bracing.
"...giving up our cherished beliefs' so that we can discern like Francis."
      The man is mad.

    Moderation limbo?

    Count your blessings!!

They BANNED me for what I don't know. I know I can get hot-headed and so does my priest, but I wasn't really hotheaded with them that I know. Maybe it is a coincidental Discus glitch?

I asked and got no reply. And Lifesite is a good site overall. I really like it.

I was banned from LifeSite the first year of Bergoglio's reign of terror for, I assume, saying things about him everyone's saying now. Including LifeSIte!! Ahead of my time, I guess.

These past 4 years have been a A reign of terror and heresy by Pope Francis!!

I CANT WAIT FOR CDL SARAH TO BECOME POPE!!

Unless by some working of the Holy Spirit ,I just don’t think Cardinal Sarah, as much as I would love him to be Pope Pius XIII, will become pope. He is far too traditional that 2/3 of the cardinals would vote for him. I think the next conclave will have a compromise candidate after reaching a stalemate between the liberals and the traditionalists/conservatives.

They would probably settle for an aged cardinal who appears in the middle but I think in truth will be a lot more traditional than expected. Someone like Cardinal Franc Rode or Cardinal Angelo Scola. They might not worry about age but rather just want someone appearing in the middle like Cardinal Turkson or Cardinal Ranjith (although these two might prove to be more traditional than expected)

Is LifeSite supposed to be a traditional catholic site or just a catholic one? I never heard of it, but then I've only been Catholic for three years.

They would not define themselves as"traditional" I suspect but ARE a Catholic
website very actively exposing the culture of death around us today.
      They are quite good.

EjB, as far as I know they are simply a PRO-LIFE website. And I am fairly certain they wish to appeal to anybody who is pro-life. As for contributors, I don't know since I have no idea of the religious affiliation of anyone there, except for the owner John-Henry Westen who is definitely Roman Catholic.

(Later) I just checked their site -- they have a new feature : "Catholic edition," as opposed to "standard edition," which I never noticed before, but it's probably a good idea.

Here is what the computer told me when I searched :
Campaign Life Coalition founded LifeSiteNews, a self described news website dedicated to issues of culture, life, and family that was created in 1997.[14] LifeSiteNews "is a non-profit Internet service dedicated to issues of culture, life, and family."[15] It also runs Daily News reports and information pages "to provide balance and more accurate coverage on culture, life and family matters than is usually given by other media."

Anyway I hope that helps a little.

I don't know what they are except, at times, incoherent. They're on the right side but seem to like to throw their weight around. 'Snobs' sounds about right.

Own comment:

Bergoglio and his psychophants are busy rooting out of the Church anybody who tries to stand up against their diabolical revolution.

We should be happy that they are at least doing it in the open now, and they don't even bother to make up excuses for it any more; nor can anybone seriously make up any excuses for them.
