The difference between the kittens and the recent signed statement is that where the kittens asked a set of questions, to which I have no doubt they knew the pope’s answer to, the recent action of the Kazakhstani bishops was to issue a statement reaffirming the bi-millennial teaching of the Church and backhandedly indicting the pope of heresy. Perhaps it is the beginning of the end of this papacy? I sincerely hope so.

I agree. The problem is the “backhandedly”.
We need shock and awe, not subtle undermining.

...

Meowing is also more than nothing, and I know you may disagree….
We need much more, but Meowing, Correctio Fidelis, , Weinandy’s letter , this statement (in chronological order), this blog and others ( for example Sandro’s Magister, Specola, 1P5 ), with all their defects, are helping.
May the Lord intervene, and this papacy be closed, and not only this papacy.

In 500 years the meowing will not be considered “better than nothing”. It will be considered cowardice.

Own comment:

The statements of the bishops of Kazakhstan is several notches higher in terms of a stumbling block to the Bergoglio agenda than the mild cryptic statements thus far of bishops who claim to oppose his agenda.

It was certainly a good way to end 2017 and I hope it will steamroll into a greater movement to depose Bergoglio in 2018.

Either way, it is one small nail in his coffin when it comes to his final condemnation once the Catholic Church becomes Catholic again.
