I thought the whole Catholic Church Sex Abuse Scandal was something that the media decided to bury once they found a friend in Francis. I mean, this was something I was hearing about less and less - when it was prominent before I dismissed it as "slow news material" as it seemed to always pop up when there was nothing else in the news to talk about (picking on the Catholic Church seemed like a reliable go-to for the mainstream media).

Now, though, I think that this problem is but a symptom of a much more encompassing one.

The media had nothing to do with this. In fact, our media refused to cover it, calling it an internal Church matter. So we spent a lot of time and money on our own to the point where the media couldn't ignore it. Additionally, my blog JungleWatch.info, where all of this was initially exposed, started getting up to and beyond 10,000 views per day, racking up now nearly 8 million views since I began exposing this in 2013. The media couldn't ignore it because they were getting left behind. The USA Today article was written by local reporters who took credit for investigating and "unearthing" this scandal. That is so laughable. Not only did they do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING of the sort, they we were pushed into covering it as I just explained.

I thank God everyday that my family and I found a Ruthenian Catholic Byzantine Church just a mile from my house. My wife and I will soon begin the process of changing rites from Roman/Latin to Eastern. At least in the Eastern rites, the Divine Liturgy is not tampered with, and the priests remain very holy. Perhaps the grass is not greener on the other side, but it is infinitely better than attending all the Novus Ordo side shows at just about any parish in the diocese in which we currently reside. I do not know if the sex abuse scandal is nearly as wide spread in the East as it is in the West. However, the bishops of the Eastern rites resist Francis and his minions on everything. A recent news article from a couple of days ago on Magister's website indicated that the Catholic Church in the East is a thorn in Francis' side. Indeed.

Al, I believe it is nearly impossible to change your affiliation to an eastern rite Church.
You can attend divine liturgy, receive the Eucharist, and I believe receive absolution and the sacrament of the Sick, but sacraments of initiation: Confirmation will follow the right of your baptism unless there is a physical impediment. BTW, it does not surprise me that the Eastern Catholic Church is a thorn in Pope Francis's side. He has no ecclesiastic governing authority (Reserved to the Patriarch of the Eastern Church) and he is too smart to overtly tinker with settled dogma. So basically, they can respectfully ignore him.

Any Catholic under the Code of Canon Law for the Eastern Catholic Church and the Latin rite, one can change rites. Besides, I am already in contact with an Eastern rite eparchy about pursuing either becoming permanent deacon or a priest. And, yes, I am married with a child. The eparchy I am in touch with is very favorable to have married priests- as is the custom in the East.

The Eastern Orthodox churches also survived the Marxist rule of eastern Europe much better off spiritually than the Novus Ordo church is.

I suggest that that has more than little bit to do with Slavic culture rather than Germanic. Vatican II was very much the Rhine (Germanic culture) flowing into the Tiber. Anglo-Saxon is also Germanic - Important fact: Martin Luther was a Saxon.

So, add up all the Liberal changes to culture that became established because of the 'Reformation' taking over culturally Germanic nations, and the cultural Liberalism forced on Celtic lands by the Anglo-Saxons, and the theological, political, and cultural Liberalism (much of it acknowledging its direct debt to Protestant originals) that was rife even in Catholic populations in culturally Germanic lands by the late 19th century, and then top that off with the Rhone flowing into the Tiber was absolutely necessary to have Vatican II become a purely Liberal council, and the answer ought to fairly clear: ethno culture matters a great deal.

Even if the Tridentine Mass, or the Old Sarum Mass. were offered in English translation, I would not want to attend. Being Germanic, the English language, I submit, will tend toward Liberalism unless is controlled and tamed by Latin.

Latin is required along with the specifics of the Tridentine Mass.

Can we lay all the evils of our day on Vatican II? Surely not. Back in 1955 there were faithless priests who acted out their lusts, whatever form that took. Every era in history has had crises and loss of souls. But faithlessness is at the root of it all. It just happens that the Demon of Lust is in the ascendency now.

We never suggested anything of the kind. If it were true that all the evils of the day can be laid at the feet of Vatican II, then quite obviously Pops St. Pius X was the paranoid nutter the Modernists said he was at the time. The point being made here is that the Neo-Catholics think Vatican II--Modernism's coming out party--was awesome and so was its brainchild--the New Mass. But, of course the roots of Vatican II go all the way down to the Enlightenment, and only the woefully misinformed would claim Vatican II caused it all.

How many times do we need to be reminded that the Vatican II Revolution was not the result of serendipity? We know that folks like Bella Dodd were working hard long hours at filling the priestly seminaries, internationally, with "communists" but, if we connect the facts with the proposition we now know that the communists were sodomitical as well. Too bad Bella Dodd never revealed any of the names of affected seminarians. We also know that the bad theology which infected Vatican II was brought to the table by already censured, by Pope Pius XII, theologians but, Pope "good?" John XXIII invited them to spew their poison anyway at the Council. So we don't need to scratch our heads in puzzlement but instead focus on the sodomitical Marxist Judeo-MASONIC demons who are pulling all the strings of infamy we find so abhorrent. Yes, the neo-Church is full of sodomitical wolves in sheep's clothing and now we need to get rid of them. Why is that so difficult to accept and understand ?

Presumably this is the way to crush the Church - first, entice her to approve and practice what previously had been odious, wait until the snout is deep in the mire, then - wham! - turn round and stick the knife in. 'What a bunch of disgusting people by their own standards' shout the hypocrites and liars that led the Church there.

As these hypocrites and liars are both in the Church and outside of it, it is both euthanasia and suicide at the same time.

I wonder how much of a coincidence it is that North Korea is now threatening to strike Guam? I can't help but think that, if it happens, it will be God's purification & justice for this sin. I don't know if it's correct for me to even think this way but the thought always crosses my mind when I see horrific incidences happen on the earth.

Cardinal Pell's initial court appearance was a media-scrum which as expected quickly degenerated into a Catholic-bashing frenzy. The Australian media now have their opportunity to exact revenge on Cardinal Pell for the unforgiveable crime of refusing Holy Communion to rainbow-pride wackos. Particularly offended are those mass-media personalities who are themselves LGBT disordered! Hell hath no fury like a bum-bandit scorned in the Holy Communion line!

Friends, I am the troublemaker in Guam who exposed all of this over the last four years on my blog JungleWatch.info. There’s a tab labeled “Orchestrated” that lays out how I and why I did it.

As for 1955, there was only one allegation of abuse, and it was a by a Capuchin brother who left the order. There were a few other allegation dating to before the Council but they were all by one priest, a Fr. Louis Brouillard, who was particularly sick and probably never should have been ordained. In fact, he is responsible for approximately 50 of the cases most of which spanned into the 70’s.

I have often said what the author says here. There is no doubt that the Council opened a window through which blew the smoke of Satan. On Guam, it was a perfect storm. Isolated. The deification of the clergy. A culture where one never embarrasses the family, which is probably why Guam has the highest suicide rate in the nation.

What makes our story even more evil is that Apuron manipulated and probably blackmailed his way into the bishop’s seat, where as the youngest bishop in the world, he then reigned for three decades and kept a lid on all the evil, especially his own.

At the root of the problem here is the post Vatican 2 penchant for inculturation. In its lust to have bishops of the same ethnicity as the flock, other qualifications were thrown out and the number one qualification was that he had to be a Chamorro. Thus far there have been three Chamorro bishops. And all three are accused. And we are only at the beginning. There are hundreds more victims. You are only reading about the ones who have filed suits.

Let's not forget who turned so many sodomites into Bishops in dereliction of his duty to provide Good Shepherds - yes, none other than Pope St John Paul! Bishop Cawcutt, Cardinal Groër, Bishop Maccarone, Bishop Da Silveira, Cardinal O'Brien and yes, Archbishop Apuron too - to name but a few - are all among the sodomites promoted by Pope St John Paul! No other saint in history raised so many sodomites to the highest offices in the Church! While promoting homosexual deviants, Pope St John Paul excommunicated his 2 best Shepherds - Archbishop Lefebvre and the Lion of Campos!

This is a very useful comment. Do we have your permission to reproduce it in our newspaper's letters to the editor section?

Dear moderator, as a former St Paul resident, and a St Agnes regular 10.00am mass participant, now residing in Guam, I can attest to the veracity of Mr Rohr's comments. It took a struggle of 4 long years to uncover and publicized this scandalous situation. Actually one of the most egregious abuser, is alive and well and living in Pine City, along the I35 corridor. If you want more details, I am certain Mr Rohr would be happy to help.

If you need to verify who I am, I am mentioned in the USA Today article as the "blogger." Also to clarify, the USA article said this:

"An investigation by the USA TODAY Network's Pacific Daily News unearthed allegations of decades of assault, manipulation and intimidation of children reared on this remote, predominantly Catholic U.S. territory. "

We're glad we're getting so much press, however, the Pacific Daily News investigated and "unearthed" nothing.

Yes. Feel free. And feel free to use anything on my blog where I catalogued exactly how the horrors were uncovered as well as the role played by the Neocats

Own comment:

Perhaps it is not entirely inapporpriate that Guam is threatened with desctruction, what with all the threats and counter-threats vis-a-vis the U.S. aggression towards North Korea.

I for one am happy that these perverts in shepherds clothing are being exposed because we can be sure that their spiritual abuse at the very least matches their physical abuse of those entrusted to their care.
