That's not a rebuke. That's just stating what's already known.

Cardinal Sarah knows what he’s doing and it’s not the first time for him taking a counter position to Francis most notably with respect to illegal migration, Islam and homosexuality. Of course, leftists don’t like him but non-progressives (read: Traditionalists) do.

What can the pope do? The worst that can happen to Sarah is that he’ll be dismissed from the Vatican’s Congregation for Divine Worship (he spoke in favor of and wanted Ad orientem but the initiative was rejected by guess who?) and will be sent back to Guinea.

Back to Guinea???

Big deal. That’s Sarah’s original home. Besides, it’s unlikely Francis will pull a power move with Sarah. Why not? Because Il Papa would then look like a racist white boss man kicking a black man out to the cotton fields.

It’s a win/win for Sarah. Sarah calls the pope out on all of his modernist crap and he does it without fear of reprisals.

Migration
Robert Sarah: Catholics DO NOT Have To Support Mass Migration
"It is a false exegesis to use the Word of God to promote migration."

On Islam
“We need to be inclusive and welcoming to all that is human.” But the Church must still proclaim the truth in the face of two great challenges. “On the one hand, the idolatry of Western freedom; on the other, Islamic fundamentalism: atheistic secularism

Sarah On Homosex
Following the first session of the Synod on the Family in October 2014, Sarah objected to press coverage of the synod's discussion: "what has been published by the media about homosexual unions is an attempt to push the Church [to change] her doctrine". He said the synod's interim report or relatio appropriately objected to international agencies and governments that condition foreign aid on "the introduction of regulations based on gender ideology", but needed to underscore objections to same-sex marriage. He suggested that advocacy on behalf of same-sex unions formed "part of a new ideology of evil".en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Sarah

It is amazing how people keep expecting "prelates" who have invested their lives in the Vatican II New Order religion to condemn their own representatives who are in authority over them. Let Burke, Schneider and Sarah reject the new religion and become fully Catholic. Only then will they condemn the fake shepherds who are leading the sheep straight to Hell. If the Novus Ordo is not a new church, then why do their "popes" almost exclusively quote only "popes" starting with John XXIII?

Own comment:

As far as NOChurch bishops go, I suppose Cardinal Sarah is all right. That's not saying much, because he would be nowhere neither the top of a pre-Vatican II list.

Still, it's difficult to call his words a rebuke of the pope when he goes out of his way to praise Bergoglio and Dollie9 is right:

It is indeed the case that with the exception of Cardinal Burke I cannot referencing a cardinal quoting pre-Vatican II documents.
