There is truth in what Mighty Joe Young writes:
I would not use the word "courage" as courage denotes doing the right thing in the face of insurmountable odds. Bergoglio is simply brazen.
The reply by Roderick Halvorsen I can get behind whole-heartedly though:
Whether it is integrity and courage to face the media alone, or whether it is risking losing one's privileges; it doesn't really matter. What is indisputable is that most of the episcopacy of the Church is woefully lacking in courage.
A large part of that lacks integrity as well, and the ones with the least integrity seem to end up highest on Bergoglio's promotion list.
