In Italy bars and cafes remain open. But the public celebration of Mass is not allowed.

Nero and Diocletian failed to do it. The arena and the rack could not achieve it. But Catholic bishops have managed it with a pen-stroke. No Masses.

Own comment: 

Whatever one  may think of the coronavirus, surely cancelling all Masses during Lent is indicative of the lack of faith  and  disdain that the hierarchy shows to the Catholic Faith.

I don't know if the cafés are still open, but it is a most unserious approach, even a banal approach, to cancel Mass during the most important time of the year for spiritual growth, and that on account of a virus which appears far from cataclysmic by any definition of the term.
