Yes, false + PCR. But still, better to get sick than to lose faith and freedom.

If it is weird, then it is not fitting... Now, please don't tell me the Bishop suggested this. I think I would respectfully abstain and wait for the day I could receive on the tongue in the proper way.

...and now the spiritual illness of the German Church finally infects the last remaining hold outs.

SSPX is the only real "last remaining hold out" -- they have never succumbed to a false, destructive obedience since Vatican II. During this pandemic, they were heroic in doing everything possible to make sure the Faithful received the Sacraments PROPERLY, and without interruption.

Thanks to SSPX, we were not subjected to a months-long Eucharistic Fast when so many of the Faithful were.

Own comment:

There is an FSSP priest in the U.S. who had some kind of run-in with both the secular and ecclesiastical authorities, by telling his flock that they ought to resist any order to wear face masks whether this order comes from the bishop or the state. His live-streamed Masses, I believe, were suspended although eh was otherwise untouched, is my understanding.

For that reason, I would certainly not be quick to condemn the entire FSSP for the bad actions of one priest, who for all I know may actually be a good priest acting under duress. Stil, he ought to have refused this sacrilege.

I have, however, been under the impression that the FSSP in Germany is odd and that it has made many accomodations to the zeitgeist. This video simply confirms that view. Furthermore, it confirms the suspicions of many who already view the FSSP as a whole with some suspicion, that the FSSP is untrustworthy when it comes to holding firm on what matters.

Certainly, during this whole Covid-19 fiasco, I have heard nothing about the SSPX other than how hard their priests have worked to bring the sacraments to people under very difficult circumstances, so at least from a public relations point-of-view, this whole Covid-19 fiasco leaves the SSPX in far better shape than the FSSP, and that is not necessarily a positive thing since we need the FSSP pushing for Catholicism from within NOChurch all the while the SSPX dares to tread where the Ecclesia Dei communities cannot or will not.
