shocked! I am utterly SHOCKED by this.
*sarc off*

...

There is absolutely no doubt that this is a hoax. You need only refer to the writings of Malachi Martin. The claim is that the Mother of God appeared to these children as children and no longer has any connection to them. The income from this site is worth multi millions. It would appear that the Vatican needs the money.---This is on the very site of a massacre of over one thousand Orthodox including the dismemberment of priests. Croatia was Nazi and then after the war, the Communists moved in through the partisans to push Croatia into the web of Tito. This was a way for Communism to keep control of Catholics and to make money at the same time.

...

At this point he must know he's in a race and time is short to take as many souls down to hell as possible fake divorces, "mercy", fake apparitions, he's in for the "win"

...

That which is good that comes from Medjugorje, is due to God's Grace.
We can know through both Faith and reason that Our Lady would never make the claim that she Loves all religions equally, and deny Christ.

...

  1. The 'apparition' at Medjugorje and Francis have at least one thing in common...verbosity. Were the two ever to meet it would be a wonder which one might get a word in edgewise.

...

If the pope and the 'apparition' did meet (in an encounter specially arranged by the god of surprises, no doubt) it's quite likely that Francis would afterwards announce that he'd been given an otherworldly instruction to fling open the church's doors and windows to all those uniquely talented but unjustly thwarted priestesses and thus solve the vocations crisis in one fell swoop. #New Springtime Springclean.

...

Sounds like a people on this site have precluded the Church's formal inquiry into this matter and have already concluded that the apparitions are false. Amazing that you were given this Divine Inspiration!! Who needs a Church investigation, right?

  • Well said !!! My understanding is that earlier this spring the commission set up to examine the whole situation approved the first 7 apparitions and has not reached a decision on the rest.

I also understand from a reliable priestly source that it is likely we will see much more visible Vatican presence at Medjugorje in the comming few years and also that there are regular visits from Rome which take place without any fanfare.

  • The bishop of the diocese in which Medjugorje is located has said that it is fake. That's all that a faithful Catholic needs to know.

Own comment:

It has always seemed to me odd that Bergoglio - a  man who despises everything Catholic - seemed to loathe the obviously fake Medjugorje apparitions, and even spoke very harshly against them.

Word has it from one of his appointments that he has changed his mind on this - whatever that means in Bergoglioworld. I don't for one think for one minute that Bergoglio believes in the so-called apparitions.

What seems not all too unlikely is that someone sat him down and explained to him that Medjugorje has the ability to sow more confusion and damn more souls than even Amoris Laetitia, at which point he realised it might be a good thing to unleash Medjugorje.

Since we have no official confirmation that Bergoglio has changed his mind on this, we can still hope that the whole thing is a fabrication by one of his many unfaithful appointments. However, if there is anything we have learnt over the past 4 years, it is that the worst claims regarding the man almost invariably end up being true.
