Blame the facts! It's all their fault. If they had only been up front with Francis in the first place, this never would have happened. Look, we know he received notification of what was going on in plenty of time to do something about it, which is the only reason he's trying to save face in the first place.

How about some due diligence on his part? How about not calling people "dumb," when they're trying to tell him something?

And, while we're at it,how about directing some of this newfound introspection towards the problem of--say--the Dubia? If Bergoglio is capable of making grave mistakes about Barros, why not about Amoris, too?

It is the mark of a fraudulent person that they only "apologize" when they absolutely have to, and when it is in their own self-interest to do so.

He got caught with no other way out. The truth was manifestly obvious to everybody once the story took flight and spread like wildfire, and yet he still doubled-down on the lie. He knew all along. He finally got shoved up against the wall with no way to cover his butt or sweep it under the rug, so he gives an half-azzed 'apology'-blaming it ultimately on 'those other guys who gave me untruthful and unbalanced information'. How 'bout he admits his egregious error in the FFI persecution?..."soon, soon"....yeah riiiight.

This is not a proper apology. He lays the blame on others for his blatant support of his sodomite pals over their persecuted victims & doesn’t refer to the letter ++O’Malley handed to him (on camera) signed by the Chilean victims of Bishops Barros & Karadima, preferring to slander them in a press interview on the return flight to Rome.

PF is a disgrace to the Papal Office & must be told so officially. He needs to be be publicly warned by the College of Cardinals that if he persists in signing the purported deal with the Communist Regime in China (literally the death warrant of Chinese Catholics) they will hold him in contempt of the Papal Office. They should also rein him in about his opinion that Hell does not exist & evil souls would just be annihilated. This is heresy & a scandal to all Christians.

That is not an excuse at all. He insulted the victims because others didn't inform him well. That's so lame. He should make excuses for everything he did and said during his entire unholy pontificate and just bugger off.

Odious, odious, man. Can we be grateful he is a lumbering ox stampeding through the Church, and not a more sly and cunning type, who knows how to sneak in his destruction a bit at a time? A weird thing to be grateful for, but never in our imagination would we have dreamed up such a colossal papal bull in a china shop. The conclave of destroyers could hardly have found a more suitable minion to wreck the church. No wonder they had to get BXVI out of there, lest this guy pass before they could get him in!
The Cardinals need to man up and get him out. Sooner or later he's going to cost them too much. (I have no illusions they care about anything else.) Declare that prior conclave invalid, and quick as Bob's yer uncle, all his opinions and encyclicals and pronouncements will be blown away like dandelion seeds.
